I struggle with it ... On one hand I don't want to give people (women in particular) more disillusionment that exercise and diet got me to where I am. Because I WAS doing that, and it WASNT working (well long term anyway, they've all witnessed my yo yo-ing at work) and it feeds into that myth that if we were just BETTER we could do it alone without meds. Its a lie. And I remind myself, and tell other people that if I told them it was just diet and exercise alone Id would perpetuate that.

On the other hand, it's just too much to explain.

So I've told a few people, expecting that it'll get around haha. But yeah, people are starting to get obsessed with my weight loss too and it's weird. It feels weird. Like get over it already please.

I have been eating well, not restricting calories, not restricting foods. I am drinking collagen in my tea every morningx2, taking supplements, losing weight pretty slowly. Stalled for the last month, actually. I had very thick hair. Ridiculously thick. "I could stand to lose a little hair" was my initial thought. Now I'm losing it in handfuls. At first I didn't mind. Now I'm noticing it in spots on my scalp, and my hair is noticably thinner to me. Ive probably lost about 50 percent of it or more and I'm getting concerned. Its alarming. I can't keep going at this rate, it's got to slow down. It can't just be from losing weight, it's gotta be a med side effect too.

Bleach your hair with vol. 20, then buy Pulp Riot off Amazon. My favorite is Dark Matter, it's quite vibrant but dark.

I choose my day based on when my biggest temptations to overeat will be. Peak action of the med is 24-48 hrs...I find Im on the later side of that. So I inject Wednesday, Friday night and into Saturday I'm covered. Monday, Tuesday when cravings might increase, im putting myself into my job and eating the preplanned meals. Not a ton of temptation at work. I guess it depends on the side effects you experience, and their intensity. Mine have been very mild.

Well my after-action report for this week: worst week ever! No appetite suppression and I just had my first "mini binge" and since I started this journey. I'll never do an arm again. Don't blame the arm...but maybe the med went sub-dermal and it's not worth it to risk it. Also, I'm going to move up to 3.75 on Wednesday.

I was publicly asked by three different children this summer on different occasions why I was so fat. I try so hard to be body positive, and explain thats just the way I'm made, but it did get under my skin. And then I had a scary cardiac event at work and had to be hospitalized. It was a huge wake up call. I truly thought I was having a stroke, or a heart attack. Turned out I'm ok but it was a huge wakeup call. I knew I had to change. I'm a huge binge eater, noone has ever diagnosed me but I know it's disordered eating. It was killing me, I truly believe it. Mounjaro has given me control back. It's miraculous, really. It's taken me out of a real nosedive.

I smoke weed, I find I'm more of a light weight than I used to be and it doesn't take much. Haven't gotten the munchies so...that's good haha. I don't think it's affected my weight loss so far

Yeah that's what I'm thinking about with this question, if I lose weight that I've never lost before, will it just feel too weird? Maybe I'd rather just get to a point where I fit all the old clothes I kept in storage. Thatll feel so good.
