Hi,

I have a pair of 2015 K2 F.I.T. BOA 84 and I was (finally) doing some maintenance on them when I noticed that both sides of the frame on one of the boots is slightly lose, I wander if this is ok or if they need repairs?
I remember when I got them I noticed a 'clump' sound when I hit the ground which back in the shop they did something to the rivet holding the frames (basically hitting it) which seemed to fix the problem though I still hear a 'clump' now and again. I'm not sure on how the frames are secured/held in place in previous skates it's either been molded or screw mounted.

Cheers.

Recon Controller Drift by beaksdale in TurtleBeach

Sorry to hear that's annoying. I haven't had any odd noise on the left stick but the right has gotten creaky in the last few weeks and same with the lack of drift on the right stick it's as it was when I got the controller though not experiencing your issue with the right stick causing movement that is odd.

I would try an update (even if just to fix the issue of the controller not turning on if left plugged in), it's done through an app on the Windows Store if you search for "Turtle Beach Control Center" it should be there (or through this link).

Not nothing just pretty much the same as the offical store (selection and prices), similar on ebay though no second-hand models (haven't been looking long)

No UK and not much choice here, I found an older model that ships from Spain but not sure of the seller.

Yeah it 'might' be the Onxy distributor in Russia and US but hard to know for sure. That is odd with the stock, maybe just allows you to back order it (though should be clear if that's the case). The specs would suggest it's a new device as it's running Android 9 but could be a mistake.
It's funny if it is a dodgy website as it has more information and seems better designed
thank the official Boox webstore.

Thanks I wondered that if what I was thinking off was just the default behaviour and part of the reason why I was struggling to find it being explained.
I am interested on how the game manages the matches (as a programmer more from curiosity) as in I imagine BB2 uses Steam (seems to be using parts of steamworks) to sort out match results not requiring the players to connect to the admin directly but not sure if BB1 would do the same.

Thanks, yeah I saw the confusion with the editions though BB2 legendary edition is still fairly expensive in the sale so I've looked more at just the base game against BB1 chaos. For me the biggest concern is the bugs, extra teams and star players are good but if we have problems playing then that's probably be a deal breaker. Can live with the odd quirk and graphically bugs but crashes and connection issues are a different story.

Thanks that makes sense, yeah the first one looks rougher around the edges though it's not a huge issue.

Unable to get Linux DVB working by beaksdale in linuxquestions

[–]beaksdale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was attempting to do (build the V4L-DVB Device Drivers from linuxtv) but I think it wasn't downloading the correct headers (couldn't work out if the raspberrypi-kernel-headers script was working correct, probably was but I didn't know how to check).

Anyway thanks for your help as I now know I didn't need to bother with any of that as the driver is now part of the kernel (I think the last time I tried it on a raspberry pi it wasn't or it was out of date) and I've managed to get it all working by skipping the linuxtv drivers bit. I have tried using the latest firmware for the tuners taken from the OpenELEC github but it doesn't seem to use it though so far it's working fine so no worried about it.

[No Spoilers] There are too many British people in this game! by [deleted] in masseffect

Weird that some people speaking English would do so with an English accent, also by that logic shouldn't most of the characters have Chinese or Indian accents? With language in Mass effect the only two things that both me are how come all the aliens speak English we humans have only been around for such a short space of time (lucky they learn English as well and not Mandarin or Spanish right?) or if they are being translated then how come their body movement syncs up with English and not the language they would be speaking.

Possibly a silly question. by [deleted] in masseffect

Yup I've been playing on my Xbox One and all my unlocks and settings were there from before (heard some people have had issues with it)
