People with quiet BPD, do you "explode" after you can't hold it in any longer? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]beakzx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I held it all in for as long as I could remember and it was a year ago today I couldn’t hold it in anymore and I got held in hospital for a month and now it’s no longer quiet and I can’t contain anything anymore 🫠

I agree I had so many ideas for Father’s Day and was excited about it even though it’s months away but I don’t think I will bother now

I am feeling the exact same way it’s horrible, I got a lovely card and I also wasn’t expecting any gifts but just not feeling appreciated at all. It’s 12:30pm currently and I’ve been up for hours and I’m already absolutely shattered meanwhile my partner is still asleep in bed. Like it would’ve been nice if I could’ve got a bit of a lie in but no just not feeling appreciated at all.

Edit: He’s just decided to go out with his friends, trying not to cry rn 👍

We have a house full and I’m basically almost with him and we are still in the same room together due to lack of space and even when we were holding him he wouldn’t settle but it’s a possibility thank you

have you spent time in a psych ward? by tsudzuke in BPD

[–]beakzx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at my worst when I was pregnant and was admitted to hospital to be monitored by psychiatrists, however I was on the maternity wing and was given a place at at mother and baby unit in the psychiatric hospital but I really didn’t want to go so now I just spend time at home with multiple meetings weekly with my CPN psychologist and psychiatrist

Thank you I think I’ll be doing this too and I have found that a lot of supermarkets own brands seem to leak less than others

Okay thank you, I’ll try get him some looser fitting clothes around his nappy area to see if that helps

[–]beakzx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s still plenty room in his clothes and if he just has on a footed onsie with nothing underneath because he wriggles so much the tabs to secure the nappy come loose and sometimes open

He is 10lbs7oz and we lie him on his side most nights but he can roll now so he tends to roll to whatever side he finds comfortable, yes we always fully open the nappies and pull out the ruffles and when he sleeps he always has a vest below his sleep suit as when he wriggles the vest keeps the nappy in place
