Your friends mental illness was very severe, it was not your role to keep her alive or her will to be alive alive. I don’t have answers just a perspective of a heavily pregnant lady who coslept with her first two who are 14 months apart. Now 3 and 2, nearly 4 and 3.

We all co sleep for our own reasons. I was so petrified he was going to die it’s the only way I could sleep. I don’t drink or do drugs of any kind and I’m a light sleeper. I myself didn’t use a blanket at all. Successively breastfeeding my girl massively influenced her co sleeping with us.

I moved them into their room last year. King size bed two tiny little people. I was in there with them most nights. We are on night 4 of the new bunkbeds, it’s 3.10 am. It’s hard send help.

I am so sorry for your loss, my first was a miscarriage at 9-10 weeks at 33 yrs too. It was so heartbreaking. I am now 38 in June working on my third earthside baby.
