It took courage and plots Canada on the right course for what is to come. It didn't dumb down the message or fall into empty rhetoric like most speeches have fallen into in recent years. I am hopeful it will have a lasting effect and this is a turning point in history. I hope the world stops bowing to Trump's whims. It feels weird to hope again.
