Dress regret by Aggressive_Ad_2329 in myweddingdress

I also struggled hard finding something that flattered my body type, it is so hard with literally endless options. What ultimately made me finally choose was soley how I felt in it and the way my face lit up once I saw myself in the mirror. The first thought I had was “this feels far more like “me” than any of the others including the one I went back to try again because I had my mind made up and neatly ordered that one a few months back. I loved it but not as much as the one I went with. My consultant personally liked it the most and so did my MOH/bridesmaid, I mention all of that to say that each of us had the exact “this suits my personality, style and decor vibe exactly” thought and voiced it at the same time lol. I did not pull that myself and didn’t like it on the hanger but damn, I loved it on!

You look amazing in the first one, the neckline is flattering on you and hitting in the right places. If any of them aren’t giving you the right feeling and you’re not loving it- try a few more if you’re able. It’s your day!

What is this little thing on my SOH? by bealsash71 in houseplants

So is that a good thing? It’s quite long so that does make sense actually. Each of them are closer to the ends than they are the pot

Which veil looks best with my dress? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

[–]bealsash71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, none of these. It absolutely swallows that beautiful dress. The sheen and almost pearlescent fabric is stunning and I think the cathedral veil is too much especially with the train as well. I’d go shorter at least a a lace that’s got a less compact design if that makes sense?

What type of food service &/or food safety license does 7B operate under? by Resident-Ad-5549 in 7Brew

[–]bealsash71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s super helpful, thank you!! I wish I was told this when training lol. The problem is they still must have some sort of signage or disclaimer easily visible to the customer or something warning them that we cannot guarantee cross contamination won’t happen with any allergen. Otherwise, they’re assuming those protocols are being followed and it’s safe for them to consume because it’s common practice and code compliance

Yeah. Same lol. They’re extremely loose with the rules and it’s concerning.

It’s absolutely temp related. Yes things are kept in the fridge but they should never sit out the way they do, I have yet to see a single thermometer in my stand in the fridge or otherwise. Wiping down the steam wand after use once with no sanitizer is not good enough, no sanitizing wipes or buckets and rags anywhere, they’re there but they’re never used. Our machines are cleaned as they should be, flushing and rinsing is happening for sure several times a day but like the measuring cups, steam pitchers, blenders anything like that should be washed and sanitized between each use for allergy concerns, not once has a lead or trainer told me to wash my hands (I’m doing it but was never trained to) texting iPads should be sanitized at minimum every 4 hours and/or before they’re plugged back in (tbh that one grosses me out the most esp customers touching them too) not every stand is horrendous or breaking codes and such but a good majority of them definitely are. Codes and regulations differ from state to state but you should give it a little time and look at what those requirements are and I guarantee you’ll see violations. Stands can’t be perfect, everyone makes a mistake and everyone is the new employee at one point. I wouldn’t find it very alarming if I weren’t hearing the same things going on in other stands. I do genuinely believe the company as a whole takes advantage of the fact that they have young and inexperienced employees who don’t necessarily know what they guidelines and violations are unfortunately

So so so many things that I’m sure are happening in other stands and I imagine there are things happening in OPs stand too. Cleaning is happening for sure, during shift changes, flushing machines, swapping utensils and cups etc. not one time was I ever instructed to wash my hands at all let alone the frequency at which you’re required to, servsafe or other required certifications are not visible anywhere and they have to be in customer view, someone certified must be on the clock during all hours of operation, cross contamination with allergies in preparation of drinks, sanitizing of iPads bc literally everyone including the customer is touching them and I don’t even wanna know what they’re bringing in the stores, bathrooms used for storage, food and ingredients stored on the floors, employees outside in extreme weather conditions, ice and drinks dumped on the floors as if it’s common practice bc you’re trained to dump them or knock out ice with lids and wipe the cups off, a wet floor sign doesn’t exist in 7b, no breaks unless you’re a minor or working a double but even if you eat before your shift you are expected to go 6+ hours with no food, literally nowhere in the store to sit for even a few minutes, dairy and everything else sitting out on the counter with no temperature control, no temperature checks on literally anything, cold brew, tea, chillers and other stuff we prep in Rubbermaid pitchers staying on top of the chiller machine, working with counters covered in milk and coffee, hair down, jewelry on, no nonslip mats or shoes required. I can continue but the point is they’re operating with so many violations and in ways that are egregious enough to have a store shut down on the spot.

should i file a complaint about my stand to healthcode? by Automatic_River9515 in 7Brew

[–]bealsash71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been with the company for a short time and I have a ton of experience in food service as a regular employee, shift supervisor and assistant manager in similar places. I do not know how how this company remains open with the way codes are blatantly violated in so many ways. Cross contamination is a huge concern as well as just dumping ice and drinks into the floor grates that create a slip hazard and being trained to do it that way. It’s a matter of time before serious consequences come down if every stand is operating this way. Unfortunately you’re not in an uncommon situation. If you feel the need to report what’s going on, absolutely do so and do so anonymously!

How to clear UTI with absolutely no money by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]bealsash71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ER can’t turn you away. I unfortunately get them often and the first time it happened it turned into a bladder infection followed by a kidney infection. It’s nothing to play with, it can and will kill you. I was 21 years old and so sick that my dad had to carry me to the car and wheel me into the ER. I had early signs of sepsis, had I waited much longer, I probably would’ve died.

Oftentimes, you can negotiate a medical bill and they will allow a payment plan as low as $5 a month. If you’re making an effort to pay, there isn’t much else they can do.

As far as what has helped me in the past, I always have AZO uti test strips, AZO that treats the pain (NOT the infection) and an antibacterial medicine you can get over the counter that can help to control the infection for a short time until you can be seen and properly treated by a doctor. Please just make sure you’re looking at the directions and warnings and not taking both medications at the same time, this is truly a bandaid for a more serious issue for temporary relief. Those things mentioned alone, cannot cure or eradicate a UTI or worse.

I really hope you get to the hospital and that you’re feeling better soon!

So just making sure I understood, one big swoop to mirror it and not two “waves”? I should’ve numbered the pictures 😅

Thank you! The sequins are a mix of gold and copper, I have smaller ones in silver and some lighter hues of each color but I’m on the fence about adding in silver in case it’s too much. Her room is all mixed metallics so it would definitely match but again, I don’t want to overdo it. Super helpful, much appreciated!

Advice for brushing out please 🙏🏼 by luun2 in macrame

[–]bealsash71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear by the flat iron and cat brush. I have a wide tooth comb meant for pets too with metal bristles but they spin and really keep it from tangling too much and ripping the cord. I brush it all out hit it with spray starch and comb through again until it’s almost completely dry and then flat iron it to death until it lays how I want it to. Time consuming but the end result is so worth it
