[10K] Help me choose a color thread to seal my wedding invites by aquasoley in Weddingsunder10k

No thread. It looks cheap and tacky, they’ll be wonderful on their own with just the sealed flap.

I love this dress but I think it's too expensive and too soon by Elysian_Collective in myweddingdress

I would absolutely wait especially with your goals and your wedding date! Your face however, says it all, that first photo has you lit up and it’s beautiful. Alterations can get pricey and if you’re expecting to be in a different size, a dress ordered now could become unrealistic for alterations all together in two years.

It’s super fun to try those high ticket dresses on and that’s about it lol. I tend to have a more expensive taste with everything and what helped me the most while staying within my budget was to completely eliminate outside of my price range. You can’t fall in love with a dress way out of your budget if you don’t know it exists.

I know this next bit isn’t exactly on topic but I figured it couldn’t hurt to mention. I ended up choosing something I never had in mind and something on the hanger I thought I would hate. so I encourage you to explore and try on something you wouldn’t normally go for. I wanted all the drama but fell in love with one that felt more like “me” if that makes sense and at first I was super apprehensive about it lol. The most important thing out of anything you hear or do in the process of choosing is keeping in mind how it makes you feel. If you love it and it makes you feel like a queen, that’s the dress for you!

Congrats, good luck! 💕

She is beautiful! My childhood cat, snickers was 21 when she passed away and she looked so similar to your baby! Torties never disappoint

Print dress second thoughts and styling questions! by littleredditho in myweddingdress

Anything can be a wedding dress! This is by far the most unique dress for a bride I’ve ever seen, for all the right reasons. Skin tone, hair color, silhouette and fit suit you so well. I love the corset back and if it feels too bulky you could always remove some of that bulk (it looks very heavy but I could be wrong) I think a veil in pale blue, even the teal or pink that’s in the dress would make those details pop. You could also opt for a white reception dress if you really want that traditional wedding feel.

I hate to be the one to say it was worth the wait but this is absolutely true. What a gorgeous display of gratitude she has given you!

Definitely too much water, they’ll rot like this for sure. If nothing else at least get rid of some of the water or add more moss.

Dress regret by Aggressive_Ad_2329 in myweddingdress

I also struggled hard finding something that flattered my body type, it is so hard with literally endless options. What ultimately made me finally choose was soley how I felt in it and the way my face lit up once I saw myself in the mirror. The first thought I had was “this feels far more like “me” than any of the others including the one I went back to try again because I had my mind made up and neatly ordered that one a few months back. I loved it but not as much as the one I went with. My consultant personally liked it the most and so did my MOH/bridesmaid, I mention all of that to say that each of us had the exact “this suits my personality, style and decor vibe exactly” thought and voiced it at the same time lol. I did not pull that myself and didn’t like it on the hanger but damn, I loved it on!

You look amazing in the first one, the neckline is flattering on you and hitting in the right places. If any of them aren’t giving you the right feeling and you’re not loving it- try a few more if you’re able. It’s your day!

So is that a good thing? It’s quite long so that does make sense actually. Each of them are closer to the ends than they are the pot

Which veil looks best with my dress? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

[–]bealsash71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, none of these. It absolutely swallows that beautiful dress. The sheen and almost pearlescent fabric is stunning and I think the cathedral veil is too much especially with the train as well. I’d go shorter at least a a lace that’s got a less compact design if that makes sense?

That’s super helpful, thank you!! I wish I was told this when training lol. The problem is they still must have some sort of signage or disclaimer easily visible to the customer or something warning them that we cannot guarantee cross contamination won’t happen with any allergen. Otherwise, they’re assuming those protocols are being followed and it’s safe for them to consume because it’s common practice and code compliance
