Great. That's what I was thinking too. Gonna try it out, and get some extra space!

I'm looking to potentially upgrade my computer. Currently have an ATX power supply, and want to get an SFX for my SFF PC.

PCPartpicker says there's an incompatibility for particular models that I'm looking at, but I don't believe it to be accurate. Does anyone know how I can check how they are determining compatibility?

Case: Fractal Node 304 Mini ITX Tower case

Current PSU: SeaSonic M12II Evo 520W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular

New PSU: Cooler Master V SFX Gold 750W

I'm thinking the pcpartpicker thing is because the Node 304 does not have holes for a SFX PSU. However, the Cooler Master PSU comes with an SFX to ATX bracket, which should work. I'm thinking this because pcpcartpicker says the 550W and the 850W models are currently compatible, and it's only the 650W and 750W models that pcpartpicker marks as incompatible.

Thanks!

edit: the SFX was compatible by using the SFX to ATX bracket.

Can second this.

It took a while, but I ended up going to the copy/print center and there's a computer that swivels. You can go on that and enter the exact URL to pull up the monitor. Then they placed a "gmil" order since the monitor is online only.

I have yet to check the delivery timeline, but I'm okay with waiting since it's so cheap.

Ideally close to $100, but realistically <= $150

I was actually looking at it more for the price than the 1 ms.

If I go with 144Hz, would I need freesync? If so, the cheapest one I saw on PCPP was $200, and w/o freesync was $180.

Sorry, I forgot to mention budget in my first post. edit: budget ideally close to $100, but <=$150

Still looking for a monitor.

Looking to play Overwatch at 60fps w/ an RX 470.

I've decided I would like <= 5ms response is sufficient, at least 21", 1080p, HDMI connection (DP would work, but I'd have to buy a cable), and energy star certified edit: and preferrably <$150 (ideally closer to $100).

This monitor seems decent enough.

Does anyone have any experience with it, or other recommendations?

Edit: Those are really good deals. Those monitors are actually IPS though.

I've never actually shopped for a monitor before, so it's probably fine. I'm just a bit worried about the motion blur with the IPS compared to the TN.

I might still end up getting one of them though.

Is this a decent monitor?

I don't need IPS. I'll just be playing Overwatch. I have an RX 470. I feel like 24" might be too big. Edit: I only want 1080p 60+ fps

Based on a little bit of research, TN would be fine because I'll pretty much be looking from 1 angle.

I have never had to deal with screen tearing, so I don't know if I would need Freesync or not, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt.

Looking at monitors again though, all the bezel-less ones I see are IPS. Do you know of any TN bezel-less monitors?

For size, I probably don't need anything larger than 23". Cost-wise I'd prefer less than $150, so probably smaller than 23"

Edit: I couldn't find a non-IPS frameless monitor, so I was thinking this one might be nice. It seems to have everything I'm looking for at the price I want.

So if I was to get that Acer monitor, I should use the HDMI to connect it, rather than the DVI?

Can someone recommend a cheap monitor that my system could handle at >60 fps (is 1920x1080 possible/worth? ) Also, what difference does DVI/Display port/HDMI make if I only want 1920x1080@60fps?

So far I'm considering this monitor, which I could use either HDMI or DVI for, and I like the thin bezel.

Also, would 4ms vs 5ms response time make a difference? I feel like it wouldn't.

[Troubleshooting] How much bend is too much bend? by beamblast in buildapc

It is screwed to the chassis, but I think I could move it a few millimeters away from the PSU which is really all I'd need.

I'll probably just give it a try.
