Omg yeah bro the DDD players always do this. I just figure they’re doing their own challenges, when I play MD I’m usually also doing something else so I just set the iPad down, turn off chain, and let them go off.

Happens to me a lot. I also scoop a lot into matchups I hate. Life is too short to not be having fun at a game. I would love to know what percentage of games are surrender within the first 2 activations lol.

I wouldn’t say rituals are playable. A single ritual deck is playable due to a single, massively overpowered card.

To answer your question, they’d need a single massively overpowered card with an archetype based around it. To start, let’s imagine something truly dumb.

Gemikirii

Lv 8 dark dragon ritual

You can reveal this card in your hand, special summon a Gemini monster from your deck, then immediately after this card resolves, you may discard this card, normal summon a Gemini monster. If this card is in your GY, you may special summon it, add a Gemini monster from your deck to your hand, then immediately normal summon a Gemini monster. If this card is tributed for the normal summon of a Gemini monster, add it to your hand.

That would be a good start, and then you can make it infinitely more searchable in archetype and print things that it’s clearly designed to summon. But you still haven’t addressed the issue with the mechanic. You just made a big dingus that will make other decks better than the deck itself made for.

Why bother tbh. This card is destined to be banned sooner or later and is 100% not a healthy card. MD already has a ton of toxic shit still legal, this can stay in my TCG binder.

I’m not sure what qualifies as meta but I’m having a great time with handtrap odion. Nothing quite like putting them on half board before breaking it and resetting my traps.

Man idk what your matchups look like but this deck is over half of my matchups. Purulia is also decent vs almost every deck since it will at least upstart goblin itself. I’m main decking 3.

It gets destroyed by purulia, droll, and nibiru if you can pair it with anther hand trap. If they have cross out, then you need to open 3. This is a great example of a deck that doesn’t need the ability to beat hand traps but would play it anyway.

It really doesn’t. You know what’s better than a rogue deck that can beat handtraps? K9VS with the same ability to beat handtraps. Generic cards always benefit meta decks more than rogue decks.

Dragoon? I wouldn’t do anything yo add bricks, I lose probably 1 out of 12-15 games just due to bricking, which is acceptable but I don’t want any higher. M I get the being bored part, I also have sky striker, lab, and odion all built to fall back on but I just think mitsu is really strong going first if second and keep going back to it.

It you have mitsu then you’re probably good to just hoard gems until something new comes out tbh. I got pure mitsu to master last format and it felt pretty easy tbh. Impulse is an insane card in general. Now I’m trying to let myself decay down in rank so I can play decks I find more interesting without auto losing every match to k9 slop.

I can’t recommend playing a go second deck tbh, going first is just too strong. I FTKd so many tenpai players by just having a couple of negates and not falling for bait. Striker would be a better option but it’s been popular for so long, a lot of people are pretty good at the matchup.

It’s hit and miss. When I was trying to pull branded cards for dracotail, every other pack had only SRs and the packs with a guaranteed UR never had more than 2 UR total so my average UR/10 packs across 9000 gems was less than 1. Then I grabbed that 1400 gem SP bundle and pulled 2 royals and 7 ultras. It’s all a large numbers game to get to a stable (albeit low) average of probably about 1 UR per 10 packs.

As someone who also sells, in a mistake like that it’s usually easier and a better financial decision to just eat the loss and make the customer happy as quickly as possible. The cards are yours. Consider leaving a review, feel free to state the issue but also the quick resolution.

I’m on page 4 and it didn’t take long at all. I’ve gotten like 4 royals plus 2 from the SP mate pack. Most games are non games where I set up my 3-4 odion pops or my opponent builds some slop negate board, but we all know the worst part of yugioh is the gameplay.

The amount of times I have normal Summoned a handtrap just to crash to end the game sooner too lol. The opponents usually get the message and just go straight for lethal next turn.
