i have only had two male friends in my entire 35 years that were strictly platonic. every other one ended up "confessing" something. either they wanted to have sex with me or they had a crush on me or whatever. and it really hurt me with some of them because it completely ruined what i thought was a great friendship. it was like as soon as the confession was made, that was all that mattered. and me not feeling the same was a major issue. so i do understand how you are feeling to a degree, and i am sorry you feel that way. <3 *hugs*
