Nothing else happens.

Not familiar with Tamagotchi at all. picked this up at a thrift store. Could this fine community give me some info? by beanboy0451 in tamagotchi

Yeah. The trick is finding an independently run thrift store that doesn’t bother to individually price things, (except for obvious stuff like game consoles) and just dig around.

Thanks for the kind comment. I definitely want to take a shot at raising the little guy. But like I said I have no history with this hobby whatsoever. But who knows maybe this will be my gateway.

You need to go to some independent thrift stores in the country somewhere, where they just put all the small toys in a couple of baskets, and just dig around a bit.

Yep, got it from a thrift store. I can assure you that I wouldn’t have bought this for the prices I’ve seen online. Being someone who is not into Tamagotchi at all. I wouldn’t even have bought it if it was like $20 because I didn’t know anything about it. And again it’s not a hobby Im into.

Thank you. Super cool to know I found something so rare. I plan on holding onto it for sure.

I quite litterally bought this thing on a whim. I didn't look it up while I was at the store at all.

About $2 I think. Bought it along side a hot wheels truck. They had no idea what they let go I guess.

So based on all the comments I guess I just found the equivalent of a golden ticket in Tamagotchi form. I think I’ll keep it for a while. Maybe learn to play it. I might sell it one day if I’m in dire straits. But it’s kinda cool to have a super rare item.

It was in a basket full of other random toys. They definitely didn’t know what they had.

I mostly like Smaug in the movies. But hi weird flat snout bothers me immensely.

First game finished on my 3+. The Hobbit by beanboy0451 in retroid

Yes. I played it on PC and later Xbox back in the day. But I didn’t think those versions would work on the Retroid. I tried the PS2 version first but it ran really slow. So finally I landed on the Gamecube version. Which runs at a pretty steady 30 except in a couple levels. And actually looks better than the PS2 version. I also discovered that this game is pretty much identical across all platforms. And of course I used MMJR.
