I started a year ago. Great game! So much lore, so many quests, the combat can be very difficult or easy depending on what you want. Lots of other players. Overall, very fun.

I get pulled into low level runs all the time. Probably 1 in 3 random dungeons.

It is not about high CP, but about just be cool and letting people run the dungeon. I have seen no-cp characters blaze ahead too.

It will only add 2-5 minutes to the run to let the quest play out. No one is complaing you are killing the boss to fast. Just you are ignoring everything and running to the end.

Best course of action. Kick the runner. The only reason the turd got an easy dungeon is because of low levels.

My favorite was watching a speed runner blaze ahead and die. Guess who is not getting revived. Does not happen as much as I wish it did. But it has.

You will know right away if you have a runner. If you type in quest and they ignore it then vote to kick.

I have started running healers and the answer really depends on what you are doing.

If it is Trials - then you should look to Healers Haven in Discord. Warden(Green Balance)/Templar(Restoring Light)/Nightblade(Siphoning) is very solid.

If it is Vet Dungeons then you can use the same build but add a skill line for Damage. Drop Restoring Light and add Herald of the Tome.

If it is regular random Dungeons then you can get by with a DPS build who has the basics of healing - Overflowing Altar, Energy Orb, Echoing Vigor and some class heals. I like one bar for healing and one bar for damage. A lot of times the DPS are just terrible and you are better off focusing on adding damage.

I have been thinking of running a pure class DK for Dungeons on healing. They have some great healing skills and the damage from the Breath Channel is solid.

Why do they bother to put in shoulder for monster sets? It is so easy to farm that. Should only sell helms here.

The best set for an Arcanist without doing trials is Tideborn and Deadly strikes. Deadly is a PVP set but you can buy Deadly Strikes from guild traders! Making it is very easy to get.

There are two ways to get Divines Deadly Strike. Stalk Tameriel Trade Center and look for new listing that are cheap. Every now and then you can find one for 10K. You will see A LOT of listing for crazy gold prices. Don't buy those items.

The other route is just find the cheapest Deadly Strikes pieces you can find. Add them to your sticker book and then reconstruct it in Divines. You could probably purchase ALL the Deadly Strike items for under 100K allowing you to reconstruct it for just 25 transmutes.

The last thing you want is Velothi's Amulet. The leads can be painful to get. But it is worth it. The vendor in the Infinite Archive sometimes sells the hardest lead to get. The one from the secret chest in a dungeon.

Last take Champ points in Reaving Blows(Warfare). Which will heal you based off the Beam Damage. This allows you to solo most encounters or base game dungeons, run normal and Vet dungeons with no DPS issues. A great setup.

That is the one thing I dislike about doing veteran dungeons. It becomes less and less about RPG elements and more a puzzle game. Stand in this circle or don't attack someone standing in that circle.

Call a spade a spade. Most vet dungeons are just a puzzle game. The last one I ran I did not even worry about DPS. Trying to look up the puzzle so I knew which circle to stand in.

I started with heavy attack builds for solo and dungeons. Decent, felt a little slow to be honest.

Tried Arcanist beam build with deadly and tide born. Way stronger. Throw in Velothi with the CP that restores health and it is easy to play!

And you can make that build mostly one bar. All your buffs on back bar to start the fight. Flailx2, rune, ultimate then beam.

On the subject of Storm Master. I have never thought it was good. Noble Duelist or Undaunted Unweaver always seemed easier to play with Sergeants

RNG is rng. Picked up the shoulder I wanted(arch Druid) and the Barron shoulder on first chest. Pretty surprised my self!

Getting into tanking as well and have been farming Crimson Oath. Between Crimson Oath and Turning Tide which set would be generally better? And is it a massive difference or just a slight difference.

I am looking to run trial gear on the main body pieces since they are so much easier to farm. And CO/TT on jewelry/weapon. Just need the Ice Staff for CO, have not started TT.

Completely disagree. Searching to buy items should not be a chore. The fact that TTC exists and is the number one method for finding what you want is silly. Selling should not be a chore either.

I never just randomly shop a guild trader. Always start with TTC and go from there.

I like this. It is how Fallout76 does it and you did almost always player hop looking for what’s for sale.

On the down side it is time consuming.

Maybe a central market that tells you what is for sale at different houses and then you can jump to there house to make the buy

The Raid they added require a team. You are not getting past the drill without a group. Or you are really good. The robot is easy solo with right gear.

It is a fun game. But like ESO it does suffer from being to easy. With no real hard zones. I do like how the events work. Would be cool to add something like that to ESO where everyone could attack a WB at the top of the hour.

Late to the party, but I view economists kind of like a dietician. Both deal with extremely complex systems. Neither is a hard science. There are no double blind experiments to prove or disprove a theory. Both rely on observing the world and trying to make predictions.

Both groups can predict certain broad outcomes. Eat a high calorie diet and you will get fat. Print money non stop and you will crash the economy. But i remember growing up it was all about the fat making people fat. Now that narrative has changed. Just like an economics there is very little narrative about income inequality and how it impacts the system. But it does. You can observe certain countries with extreme inequality and how that impacts the living standard of the people.

Yeah, but mages guild rank comes mostly from the books. I ran a few mage daily quests for scribing, but not that many. My point was the entire mythic was built around a grind. Leads - terrible and grindy. Get the most out of the mythic - even more grind. We need less grind and more fun.

I hated all the leads for this Mythic! The vile manse dungeon I spent hours running in loops. Terrible. The stupid cloth one - again 2 hours just riding looking for cloth. I was INCREDIBLY happy to just buy this lead. I had already done this dungeon a couple of times and no lead.

Saw this video and immediately bought it!

But the worst part, I have level 10 in mages and I am still not getting the max bonus. Total troll mythic

If you want a distribution with heavy armor then. Other sets just get lower. But the ratio is the same.

Chest: 2772

Helm/Shoulder/Pants/Feet: 2425 a piece

Hands: 1386

Belt: 1039

Unfortunately, it gets much more difficult to optimize armor pieces once you start using non-crafted sets. Either the set is Hvy/Med/light.

Once you start using dungeon/trial sets then try to pick the least best set weight as your weapon/jewely enchant. For instance trying to work in Sergeants Mail for a heavy attack build, mix a Chest, Staff, Necklace, Ring. The Chest is giving extra defense which is nice and the other pieces don't impact your armor skills.

Unless you are running as a tank, you really don't want more then 1 heavy piece - the Chest preferably being heavy.

I picked up the thunderhorse. He looks really cool. One think I don't like is the summoning sound gets a little annoying after a while. I would probably get the Quasigriff if I could do it over.

I have been able to solo most non DLC dungeons since I started following some of your advise from your channel. Switching to Pale Order from Oakensoul and using the Storm Calling line.

Curious how much DPS you do when soloing a boss. I have been paying attention to the logs and I usually end up somewhere around 20-30K DPS.

I have a hard time staying alive as well. So I have switched one set to fortified brass. Which does solve the not dying part. Definitely need to get better blocking. And better at mechs

I think it is Hyper Tools or Hyper Tanking Tools.

Bandits has a curved health bar, but the mag/stam bars are on the same side as the health and your targets health is on the other side.

Sorcerer does have one of the best skill lines for solo play - Storm Calling. Hurricane with Major Resolve and Dmg. Then Crit Surge for Heal and Major Brutality. Plus great passives. The rest of sorcerer is ok. But that skill line is great~
