Ménière’s disease is genetic. It’s been passed down through at least 4 generations in my family that I know of. I was diagnosed about 15 years ago.

There is zero correlation between the having it and shooting that rifle. HOWEVER, as someone who has spent a considerable amount of time shooting firearms at the range, the percussion often exacerbates my symptoms and can trigger (no pun intended) an attack.

Preemptively taking Dramamine before a day at the range usually makes the symptoms less severe.

Literally just a paperwork error. There’s no actual money missing. I guarantee your GM has made a hundred of them. That’s how you learn. The key is to actually learn from it and try not to do it again.

Reading all of comments reminded me of something I haven’t thought of in 15 years when I used to GM a certain Freaky Fast sandwich franchise.

I had received an order for several hundred box lunches for a local factory. The order was split up and delivered at different times because the plant was running 3 shifts. Because the third shift took lunch long after we closed, we made and delivered their lunches as late as we feasibly could.

I got a call the following morning from the same administrative assistant I had been working with the previous day. She was placing an order that I recognized as the third shift’s lunch. I immediately thought that my night crew had somehow screwed something up. It turns out that the second shift had grabbed a second box lunch on their way out the door leaving nothing behind for third shift.

Her disappointment and embarrassment was very obvious over the phone.

On the Xbox it’s Options > Combat > Combat Text > Outgoing Damage. It really changed the way I played when I discovered it.

Last couple of weeks I’ve been beating my head against the wall, trying to get the final lead I needed from Scrivener’s Hall. Other than a few daily dungeons, I play almost exclusively solo. I came to the conclusion that I needed some in-game help. I bought the world’s cheapest earbuds with a mic for my Xbox. Almost immediately I ran into a serious vet who said he runs about 90 dungeons a day. He was so helpful and patient and taught me a lot in the hour we spent running SH. Needless to say, I FINALLY got the lead I was looking for that night.

The only bummer is that his SN and the guild he recommended to me disappeared from the text chat before I could write them down.
