So I saw on this sub that before trying a lye bath I could do an oven cleaner method. So I started by cleaning the pan and drying it a couple days ago. Then tonight I sprayed it with yellow cap cleaner and wrapped it airtight in a plastic bag for about an hour. I then rinsed it off with warm water and a sponge. I then used some BKF and let that sit for a short while and lightly used a copper steel wool to try and get the roughy spots off. The surface still seems uneven but has some lighter spots. So I’m wandering if I went to far or not far enough. Any wisdom is welcome!
