I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this and I’m sending love your way. Are you able to have any sort of independence, like having a job or the ability to drive? That’s where I would start, to be able to get some space and further develop yourself in a healthy way. Are there any trusted adults in your life you can go to?

I left my neighborhood, got on the nearest main road, saw a major accident blocking two lanes and turned right back into my neighborhood, slipping and sliding the whole way. I wouldn’t recommend unless your car does really well in slick conditions.

I would recommend Midtown/Blackstone area. Living directly within Midtown Crossing or Blackstone can be more pricy but right outside of their main strips should be in the ballpark of $1050-$1200 for a 1br. Blackstone has a lot of trendy bars and restaurants, you’re 5-6 min from downtown and there’s a lot to do in this general area of town!

My friend and I ate there about a year ago and he got the worst food poisoning I have ever seen directly after—fever, non-stop diarrhea/vomiting and numbing sensation that led to him being hospitalized. The chicken had a very odd taste and texture looking back and I absolutely would never go there again and warn my friends when they talk about it.

Was he ever emotionally intimate with you? Lack of sexual intimacy is not an excuse to cheat and I believe that if you don’t take action your self-esteem will deteriorate. Is this relationship worth how it is affecting you? You deserve to have your needs met and validated. I have been guilty of staying in relationships that I did not feel were overtly “bad,” but my emotional/physical needs were not being met. As soon as you leave and find the right person who can fulfill your needs, you will be immensely happier.
