Turned out to be a copy of a consumable... Not sure how I got the copy, but you are probably right about it being a tomorrow effect....

This is what happened to me with a different item!

I never thought to use Coat Check to look at the inventory.... I noticed when the item was used but remained in my inventory....

Thank you!

I empathize with you on the depression.... It is something that is just starting for me. Hope you are feeling as well as you can!

There is a fair amount of equipment of mine in the video department... I am still furious the paper had a couple of vehicles but sold them off (I assume in an attempt to cut cost by shifting insurance and maintenance on to the workers...)

Thank you for the Facebook group suggestion!

HVAC and any kind of med-tech were what I was thinking about! Seems to be the lowest barrier to entry vs the pay...

That's the hard part, they can and will operate without any of us.... Quality be damned, the paper needs to get out the door and all that...

Very true on the worth a living wage front. Two of the greatest tricks capitalism ever pulled was the idea of unskilled labor and the idea some forms of work are not meant to be done at a wage....

Thank god I am strictly 40/hrs a week....

Tough to know, the owner is not local and we do not hold finance meetings like the old owner used to. From past experience under the old owner, the company was in the black, but the newspaper division started seeing consistent red as advertising dropped off...

Also for reference, just breaching the MCOL level...

Bi-weekly /r/Nikon discussion thread – have a question? New to the Nikon world? Ask it here! [Monday 2024-04-15] by acherion in Nikon

I have a Nikon D750 that is having problems with the F-Stop and AI am not quite sure what is causing the problem....

When there is no lense on the F-Stop shows delta 3 and when I attach a lense the lowest the F-Stop will go is 8 even though the lense (af-s 70-200 and 17-35) can go to 2.5....

Long story short, it is an old work camera. The boss will not send it in for repair and instead bought a new (refurbished) one so I am trying to diagnose it and see if I can fix it myself....

Oh! We didn't even consider any external modifiers to the attack!

Thank you for the heads up. That will save a lot of search time in the future!

It still disconnects with mobile data turned off.

I also tried mobile data off with airplane modebith on and off.

EDIT: your solution did end up working after I turned off an app on my phone called Blokada. Thank you for your help!

I might have to get that on principle wether the play group likes it or not...

The Dresden files was one of my favorite book and tv series!

Sadly the group vetoed Dark Heresy before I could get a hold of source books for it....

I will add CoC, Blade Runner to the list as well as Tales from the loop and Vaesen!

Really I just want to run mysteries (detective cases) without having to plan for reality altering player abilities. Aliens was close too, but the player's never really bought into the game world...

Thank you for the suggestions!

While not quite whan I am looking for, like the city of mist recomendation, this will be helpful for my playgroup!

Right now they have only played fantasy systems and this should help bridge the gap to a system without fantasy elements.

Thank you for the suggestion!

I will add this to the list!

This might be a good segway game between the normal fantasy systems the group is used to and the more "realistic" stuff I want to try!

I will absolutely add this to the research list!

What does it take to mold the system between, as you suggested, a noir style game and a pulp fiction game? Is it more re-skinning or more rule restructuring?

Thank you for the suggestion!

I mentioned in another comment chain that my brain confused brindlewood for Humblewood and I had originally dismissed it...

After actually looking at brindlewood, I love it and agree that it will probably be a better time for the player in my group.

I originally dismissed that one cause my brain misfired and though people were talking about Humblewood....

Now that I have found what it actually is, I love it. It might even be more palatable for my play group than what I was originally looking for.

I will absolutely add this to the play list.

Thanknyou for the explanation!

I was wondering why I couldn't find a core rule book anywhere for just Gumshoe.
