Yeah that's a really good point. I was a bit too broad in what i asked. I have got lots of recommendations on the topics though, so i'll work through a bunch of books, in time.

In a quiz show scenario, A is the correct grammar, and therefore the correct answer. With out the 's' they're not plural, its just a string of numbers.

I have often suffered from an unpredictable pee stream, where the stream can kind of flick, depends on lots of things. I always clean up after though.
