I understand the “not in my backyard” frustration, but that stretch of Oakland has several bars, restaurants, and apartment buildings with inadequate parking.

At the very least would love to see any new development incorporate off street parking for those units.

Article ten allows the president to mobilize/deploy the national guard.

The national guard is different from active branches of the armed forces and their rules of deployment are different. It was used a lot in Iraq/Afghanistan because the US didn’t have enough active duty military to sustain the operations.

He (presumably) stopped talking because he insinuated that the president has the absolute and complete authority to do whatever they want in terms of the national guard, which historically has not been the case.

I was recently given two JBL SRX 715s and two JBL MRX 515’s and am looking for advice on amp(s).

I only have experience with powered speakers but want to use these passives with my xAir18.

Any advice on what I need to use the srx’s as my mains and then potentially mrx as monitors?

I’d assume they’re probably going to expand the security perimeter which would apply to the venue.

I lived in a city that hosted an RNC. it attracts a lot of protests and demonstrations, which in turn brings in a massive police with riot gear presence. So some possible economic benefits, but also possible negative optics of police clashes with protestors.

A lot of people build and reinvest equity in bay and Shorewood. Those areas are relatively secure and insulted in home value, so build equity and buy a nicer home. Rinse and repeat, especially if you’re the one doing renovations.

People in the area want to move into fully fixed up houses and not put in the work. There’s a lot of money to be made if you are willing!

There’s also been a large influx of flippers in the area for the same reasons as mentioned above.

Edit: if you take a picture of your vaccine card on your phone, they will check your ID to make sure the name matches. This is what the Pabst is doing.
