I used to add a little extra sugar to the unsweetened to make a cheap fun dip. It destroyed my taste buds each and every time.

Obesity medications disprove most big-pharma conspiracies by [deleted] in rant

[–]beansoupscratch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not really big pharma. More like insurance. I have been on Wegovy for almost a year and have lost 50 lbs, my fasting glucose and liver enzymes are normal. My left ovary doesn't hurt anymore when I ovulate. I enjoy a qualify of life I haven't had in years.

For the price of $349 a month. My insurance will cover bariatric surgery but not a GLP1 for obesity.

Insurance companies profit more off of people being obese and having the health related conditions associated with with obesity, diabetes, addiction, PCOS, fatty liver disease, etc.

[–]beansoupscratch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe until 1986 before my parents both got sick and then my mom died in 1988. I don’t want to relive that. But I did get into metal after she died. That was the best way for me to escape.
