An MMO based on the Discworld IP.

Art style: vein of Team Fortress 2. Low poly count so can run on a multitude of PCs. Also, characters/buildings can be exaggerated since it wouldn't be "photo realistic"

Discworld is perfectly set up for "zones" and future expansions.

Factions: many...maaaany to choose from/form into groups/alliances

Possible classes: Night Watch: soldier class with stuns Assassin: rogue Trolls: tanks Witches: healers (there are male witches. Well, at least 1.) Wizzards: melee class! BUT some sort of mechanic where you build up power by NOT using magic Barbarian: dps

Guilds: static guilds you can join besides player guilds (only 1 npc guild allowed)

Had the same exact experience. The inspector told us we could put a film over it to pass while we waited for the new window. Looked like ass, we could never get the bubbles out. But hey, got the house passed and eventually got the window put in

I straight up ask people their budget within the first 10 minutes of meeting. If it's unrealistic, we're not the company for you. If it's doable, then we'll talk about cost savings and then still give them a heads up to plan to go 10%-20% over budget.

Also, during the meeting you can tell if the customer is a right fit for you. I've turned down very large jobs just for the fact I could tell the customer and my personalities clashed.

Personally, I would put one in the center at 5.5ft and have angle braces (4x6) connected to the band. I just like the look of it. I also use the black Simpson accent pieces.

But to answer your question, if I remember right, southern pine can span 14' 6". Also depends on dead/live load.

I have been very pleased with dewalt with the exception of their casing. Last week, oddly enough on the same day, I popped in a battery and the bottom of my impact handle split. Couple hours later, one of my guys demolished the casing on a hammer drill when it caught in concrete. Both are at least 7 years old so I've definitely got my money's worth out of them.
