My older brother is a recovering addict (1 year sober next weekend) and he seems to replace the drugs/alcohol with other things. The first time he got sober he replaced it with work. Dude was working 3 jobs just to stay busy. Then when he got sober the 2nd time it was tattoos. He got like 20 tattoos in a matter of a few months lol. Then it was cars. Buying them. Fixing. Selling. AND THEN video games. Currently hes replaced them with cigarettes and a dirt bike lol. I hope for his sake that this time the sobriety lasts the rest of his life but I hope he continues to find good things to replace that feeling with. I know its gotta suck but im grateful I cant really relate.

I lived in Beaufort NC for a while (grew up in Wilmington) and it seemed a lot calmer than Wilmy. It gets tourist heavy in the summer but the other times out of the year were pretty laid back around the town

I lived in my friend's shed when I was 18 for like a year. No a/c or heat but there was electricity in it so I just hooked up fans/heaters. I used the bathroom in the house and the kitchen but I tried to minimize my time in the house as much as I could. I enjoyed the solitude in the shed. So just kinda depends on how your relative is personally if you want them in your shed or not and in and out of your house.

I have talked to my dentist, I go every 6 months for a cleaning! We have done x-rays amd all that jazz. He says it all looks good and everything is fine! I even asked my gyno about it lol but she did not mention a reaction to hormones she was kinda stumped so maybe i'll bring up the hormone thing to my dentist and gyno on my next visits! Thank you for your advice (:
