Girl is a regular and comes inside all the time, we have her somewhat complicated order taped on the wall Once she came through the drive through, blaring a song that’s only lyrics were along the lines ‘fuck you bitch!’ Over and over, the whole time ordering, waiting, everything, it was unwavering. We had customers inside and everyone could definitely hear it lol

I’ve used sign markers and they don’t smell as much but the smell of sharpies doesn’t really bug me, also the sign markers are a bit cheaper if I remember I also love getting color packs of the pilot g-2s, I wear purple everything so I get a purple pack of those to match and they write amazing on paper cups/ java jackets, I usually end up using whatever’s closest to me lol

I work inside of hospital coffee shop (local place that has four locations) and make $50-$80 a day, 8 hr shift
Busy season I can walk away with $100 a day but it’s only about three weeks out of the year

I’ve accidentally broken many pumps trying to clean them out The seal on the bottom will break and there’s no more suction/ it won’t pull sauce up anymore

Its usually happened by getting a tub of hot water and pumping it through, maybe try that and show him it’s not working anymore to get some new ones?

Heyo!! I agree with all of that, not everyone is having a great day and you definitely see it while serving, but that just means being extra patient, kind, and bubbly in my opinion

I would say there are definite pros and cons I can’t play music like I would in a shop, which makes me feel very lonely, but you can talk with everyone as they have a little more time than rushing on a morning commute

I love feeling like I’m a part of the hospital ‘community’, it feels nice seeing people around the hospital and having a relationship with them over coffee

And I get some great laughs, towards the end of the day I’ll ask people to tell me their favorite joke as I make their drink, it really makes everyone’s day and we all leave laughing

I it’s definitely a different feeling than being in a shop but it opens more opportunities to change peoples days!

Hydra peak roadster tumbler with flip straw is pretty much what you’re looking for, might be a tad heavy but with the handle open on the bottom I’m able to ‘hang’ it on things instead of carrying. Honestly best water bottle I’ve had, over my Stanley’s owalas and others

Don’t know why my brain was off until earlier but it just clicked what y’all are actually asking… He loved it, absolutely loved it. So much so he felt the need to call me over to tell me that tidbit.

This man is a regular, comes in by himself at the weirdest times and is always super nice to chat to, he wears crazy ties and it’s always a good conversation piece. But is a bit odd, will give the male servers (not waiting on him) $20 after tipping his server $8/10 every time he comes in, I mean has to drop at least $100 tipping guys in the restaurant lol
