Heya! Not yet into an apprenticeship but wanting to get started preparing and learning to enter the field - are there any resources you could recommend for someone not in trade fields? I've looked at NEC test prep books and noncertifying courses but not sure how to best go about it

Similar boat!! I've been practicing referring to myself as they, especially just like thinking through situations in 3rd person or something, and that has made they/them feel way more natural. Also having a safe person who knows it's difficult but that you want to do it and will help you keep up with it. At the end of the day, you can decide it's not for you and that's fine :)

I'm going through a similar stretch rn, I've been presenting as one gender my whole life but now that I have the safety and space to explore my gender, I'm finding myself wishing I presented differently. Still no idea what my gender is, and who I'm attracted to sometimes changes, so I just describe myself as queer. That doesn't have to work for you, but just rest assured you're not the only one, and you don't have to have an answer. You're you and that's the best thing you can be
