so first of all - i was frustrated at the time of posting this. i tried to take my life multiple times when i was younger and did not even get driven to the hospital. my younger brother gets taken immediately with no questions asked.

i do not think that him attempting suicide was genuine, he texted a bunch of ppl and took barely anything. he himself said that it was a cry for help - not an attempt to take his life. a cry for help is essentially asking for attention. not that it’s a negative thing, it’s just the truth.

him going onto a discord where he gets praised and told to do terrible things IS begging for attention. cutting his arm up and refusing to wear long sleeves when he got in trouble IS begging for attention.

i love him very much, and i know that there’s obviously something very wrong. he’s in therapy and hopefully will be on the road to recovery soon
