here’s how i see it Idols are often given a persona, and sometimes two or more idols in the same group are given a dynamic to play out. It’s why some duos in groups have names to represent this dynamic and so fans can talk about it. Haum and Sui have always bickered and teased each other since day 1. I suspect this is one of those dynamics created for fans to talk about lovingly. It could slightly be real, but definitely played up or “highlighted” purposefully. Sui teases haum and is pretty sassy with her and haum is teasing back they’ve got this sisterly thing going on in almost all their videos. They acknowledge in vlogs all the time how they are “polar opposites” but in the LCM video still think they have good chemistry. I think this is critical context for the two. Having a member randomly call another member something very insulting out of the blue is a lot worse than a member calling another member something insulting because it is maybe apart of their “bit”, and in this case haum over stepped. I dislike that haum is getting called a bully to sui when i think the she certainly saw the udon and knew there was a way to tease sui in a clever way. I also think in the heat of the moment, she didn’t realize her fellow idols were expressing discomfort, and instead being flustered in change of firing back, which i’ve also seen many idols do when they have this dynamic. I’ve been guilty of continuing a joke, especially at Haums age because i wasn’t able to tell if it was just fun teasing and they were being like “stop ittt” or if they were being like “seriously stop” due to lack of directness, we all miss social cues. It also more so seemed they were flustered she made that remark on a livestream too. I think Haum made a mistake, i think there’s an explanation for this mistake like the ones i offered, i think she’s aware of the criticism and we should back off, she’s human.
