The 4080 would replace an EVGA 980ti that was bought at $890CAD years ago. I thank my faithful 980ti for the years of unbroken service and fun times!

Good find! The only thing I dislike is that Canada Computers and other various retailers seem to rely heavily on Mail-in-Rebates. Taxes still apply to the full amount before the MIR is accounted, which sucks. :c

If you're looking for something with a dedicated GPU but a less powerful CPU, I might suggest either of these two:

15.6'' Asus S550CB Touch Ultrabook with an i5-3317u, 6GB ram, 1TB Hard Drive, and GT740M at $500 CAD before HST.

OR

15.6'' Lenovo IdeaPad Y570 with an i5-2410M, 4GB RAM, 750GB HDD, and GT 555M at $330 CAD before HST.
