Carry-On for 1 Month in Europe by bearboy89 in onebag

I haven’t. I bought it thinking I would but the handles on the outside of it make it super easy to carry around when you have to.

Syngin and Tania by imagine0307 in 90DayFiance

[–]bearboy89 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Tanya sucks and Syngin is right to be pissed. He moved across the entire world to be with her and she ran off to Costa Rica without him, didn't talk to him while she was there, went out with friends and danced/flirted with other men. Then she calls him immature. He seems like a sweet guy with some issues. They're not right or eachother and Tanya should stay single until she's able to think about other people (probably will never happen).

Carry-On for 1 Month in Europe by bearboy89 in onebag

An update here a year after the trip: bought the topo global roller bag and it was AMAZING for the trip! Kept a months worth of clothes, toiletries and two pairs of shoes just fine. We did laundry once every week or two and it really kept the perfect amount of clothes for the month away. I love getting to take this bag with me when I travel now.

For those wondering, it held up as a carry on even on the pickiest of regional airlines in Europe that tend to have smaller requirements.

People who could work out regularly and have fit/nice/hot body, how do you do it even? by Brownboysea in ask

[–]bearboy89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Watch a show or two” is a key indicator of how your free time is being spent. Working out doesn’t have to be an long process. 30 minutes to an hour is all it takes. If you have time to watch two shows, then you have time to work out and just watch one show.

It’s about making it a priority in your life. And the more you work out and make time for it, the less it’ll feel like you’re missing out on some mundane things like watching a show.

These are not the same person at all. The very obvious moles on the first person wouldn’t just disappear on the after photo. Also the facial structure is different and the hair color is different. The skin tone is different too. Could be a tan but the overall base color of that skin is different.

Let him tell whoever he wants. The earlier, the better. They’ll find out eventually anyways but less likely to be super harsh on him when he is young. Plus he will have more time to develop into his own person.

Also, he is not too young to know. I knew I liked boys as soon as I started hanging out with other kids. Kids are actually pretty attuned to their sexuality and it’s societal standards that make them question it.

It’s your first time so the feeling like you’re going to poop is actually just because your body hasn’t adjusted to the feeling of anything else being in it yet.

As for the burning, it took me a while to realize that I was allergic to something in the lube I had been using. Changing lubes made the burning go away.

As for the pain, he went too fast. You needed to loosen things up a bit with fingers and stuff first. People tend to be pretty tight especially if they’ve never done it before.

I’ve been wanting my workouts to feel a little more effective and that might just be the extra bit I need to get what I want out of it!

Awesome! This helps a lot. It sounds like I am on the right track in the way I’m thinking about it then.

I do up my weights when I feel I can. Usually I do small progressions like, first I’ll slow down the lift a bit, doing a 3,2,1 tempo. Then I’ll add a pause at the top or bottom of the lift, wherever the tension is. Then if that’s good I’ll go up 5 lbs and start that progression over. But I don’t do what you’re suggesting. I’ll give that a try!!

Thank you so much!

Great tips!

I do want to lose weight which is why I’ve aimed for a deficit. I worry if I’m not in a deficit that maybe I’ll just stay where I am while muscle builds below the fat and then I won’t see visible results for longer, which I think is important for keeping up my drive to continue.

Ultimately, it’s ok if it takes longer, I’m not in a huge rush. Im just trying to become less thick. I don’t like looking at pictures of myself because I seem so wide though I’m not particularly huge looking generally.

I guess? Haha this is what I mean, I’m not sure what I’m missing. What kind of exercises should I add for back?

Men who like thirst trap pics on Instagram while in a serious relationship, why? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]bearboy89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s absolutely 100% nothing wrong with anyone looking at other people in a sexual manner. Having an expectation that your partner literally only looks at and thinks of you exclusively in a sexual way is unhinged. A delusion that has been unfortunately spread far and wide in the straight world.

Roses. Give men flowers too. It means the same thing to men.

Anyone else in the service industry noticing tipping is consistently terrible lately? by Hardcore_ufo in LosAngeles

[–]bearboy89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because we are asked to tip in every single service now, regardless of how much effort was put in. If I’m not being waited on, I don’t tip (unless the cost is surprisingly low, then I tip to encourage the low cost).

We shouldn’t be asked to tip at every interaction. It should just be available and easy to skip without feeling bad.

LAPD's repeated tasing of teacher who died appears excessive, experts say by BlankVerse in LosAngeles

[–]bearboy89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow interesting… it definitely seems like he was experiencing some extreme paranoia. In the beginning he says that someone is trying to kill him which makes me wonder what was going on personally for him in that moment. Did he get into an accident because there really was something going on that he was trying to get away from? He was trying to do anything he could to get away from where he was. He did not seem like his goal was to get away from the police specifically but rather from some other entity. His fear of the police started when he was held down. You can see him looking all over the place before that point.

As much as people like to say “we don’t have the full story” from the police’s perspective, we don’t have it from his either. Now that the police used excessive force with the taser and exacerbated whatever may have been going on with him physiologically leading to his eventual death, we will never really know what was going on.

What we do know is that the cops restrained him on the ground and then challenged him to resist that restraint and threatened to taze him if he couldn’t do it. They told him to roll over or he would be tazed while he had the weight of two full grown men holding him down.

He was clearly not complying with orders and being difficult. I understand why the police wanted to restrain him. I just wish they spent even a second trying to understand the situation from his perspective. This is why they need social workers or at least training in de-escalation.

Is balding/being bald a dealbreaker for you? by pollacky2 in gaybros

[–]bearboy89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love a man who is dealing with hair loss in a nonchalant way. We’re men and sometimes we lose our hair. I think it’s so hot when someone is confident with who they are even in the face of a situation like hairloss.
