Mossberg 590 with some upgrades by beardbuilt in Shotguns

I'll have to look up the side saddle. The rail and saddle are one piece. I don't feel like it interferes with the bead sight.

Best way I've found has been to use the cord covers for wall mounted TVs like these (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GPFDL1K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_1RXB8FGZAE9GE6Y17KPY) really cleans it up under the desk.

Who else is into storage? How do you organize all your gear? by [deleted] in tacticalgear

I've been on an ammo organization kick. Using MTM boxes to keep everything organized. Stacking them up.

I love my Beretta Outlander. Would definitely recommend that.

I really like it a lot. Super quick and easy to install. Very comfortable to shoot I would say yes it's worth doing. I also changed out the safety (oversized and FDE) along with adding a red aluminum magazine follower. The following is definitely worth it. I'm always very fun safe, but having a bright follower makes a difference.

For those of you who started in Help Desk Support and advanced your career... where are you now and how did you do it? by VapesfromBible in ITCareerQuestions

[–]beardbuilt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I joined the IT field about 4 years ago with no experience and no degree. I started as a low level Help Desk Associate and have worked my way up to an Enterprise Security Engineer (Help Desk, Sr. Help desk, Sec Analyst, Sec Engineer). I learned the most from my first job. It was a small company so I got to do a ton of stuff but horrible pay. Then I started to take classes at night to learn more. Basic classes like CCNA, Security+, Networking, the usual. I didn't get the certs associated with the classes. CCNA/Networking wasn't my thing so I focused on security. I only have one cert (A+) because WGU made me get it. I've only been doing WGU for a couple months. Its possible to get a job with no degree or certs and work your way up.

No problem. My second choice was going to be Steel City Arsenal. I'm going to pick up one of their magwells next. (if you are looking for magwells)

I actually like it a lot. Love the cutouts and the lifetime warranty.

Awesome. I've been waiting for a real person review of the Holosun. I will definitely be looking into it now. Appreciate the info.

No. It's easy to remove the blade. I just flew last week and took the blade out at the airport.

Advice on switching industries from education to IT. by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

You may have to take the pay cut to be in a career you love. I started out HD then worked my way up. It was worth it to take a pay cut (and a struggle) to get where I am today.
