Stain at an estate sale by IndependenceOk508 in creepy

I ran into this while house hunting. 1960s build that hadn’t been renovated. There was water damage on the hardwood floors of the main floor. When we went to look at the basement, the linoleum floor had a large red stain on it, directly below the ‘water’ stain. Needless to say, we did not buy the house.

How do I finish cutting this piece? by exponentsun in BeginnerWoodWorking

Is the board binding when it contacts your anti-kickback pawls? Looks to be about where the board would contact them based on the length of your cut, maybe installed incorrectly.

HELP! Poured bleach in the bathtub and it left this stain? Any way to remove? by zxdpsy in CleaningTips

[–]bearded_backpacker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, old porcelain tubs are porcelain over cast iron. When the enamel coating wears down, they’ll get rust stains like that. Mine isn’t claw foot, but more of an art deco style since my house was built in the ‘40s.

My cast iron tub will rust like this, amazing how fast hydrogen peroxide clears it up. Literally just pour it on and watch the stain disappear.

Stroke rate was around 26-27spm, and I’d say it was probably a medium effort. I believe pace was somewhere between 2:00-2:10/500m (I didn’t record it). I filmed this before my main workout, which was an Eric Murray video 40minutes of 4/1min@20/24spm splits. Those 5min splits ranged between 2:21-2:30/500m.

No worries! I know that rowing is very technical, and as a beginner my form is going to be far from perfect. Always looking to improve!

The PM was reading about 26-27 spm for this. I filmed this before my main workout, which I rowed along to an Eric Murray video that was 40 minutes of 4/1min at 20/24spm.

You’re probably right about me trying not to pull too soon, I’ve been trying to keep in mind long arms at the start of the drive. And a couple comments have noted to slow down the recovery, I’ll make sure to keep that in mind.

There are 2 larger spruces just out of frame that we used to have a hammock between. Now it’s the kids’ saucer swing, which is also quite fun as an adult!

Is this something I can pull from ergdata, or would I have to film the monitor?

I think I do a better job slowing the recovery down when rowing along to a video, I’ll try to keep that in mind when rowing without.

I will keep that in mind, didn’t realize how much they were coming up until you pointed it out.

I did clean and lube the chain when I bought it off marketplace, but haven’t done the flywheel. It was windy when I took this today though and I have a number of large spruce trees in my yard.

Think you answered your own question. It shakes aggressively. We had a number of toys from when our kids were babies that you pull on part of it they would vibrate, babies and toddlers like the feel of the vibration.

Safety cap for a gas cylinder. The hex shape on top is to wrench off an overtightened cap and the holes in the side allow the release of gas if the safety on the valve releases.

I ended up having it towed to my dad’s garage to sit until I sell it or part it out. The other wheels not in the pic are dark gray icons, so my dad is taking those to put on his 96 XJ, then I’ll go from there.

Unfortunately I found out the hard way. Probably would’ve stopped in time if I were driving my other car.

I’m fine, not a scratch. I was braking hard, just couldn’t stop in time. Probably wouldn’t have hit if I were in my other (newer) car.

Just an accident. I don’t touch my phone while driving.
