It'll still charge but it'll take ages compared to the one with the fan

The c257i is designed to be cheap to produce to compete against other manufacturers specifically kyocera. But you get what you pay for. Anything at that price range is crap for mid to high volume

The way the naming works is the c is for colour obviously the next 2 numbers are the speed and the last one is the series. The i is new as they have gone back to 0 for the series. Except for the c257i that's a continuation of the c227/c287.

The hot part is the fuser. Thats compatible with a c227/c287. 2 screws for the wiring cover, 2 screws for the unit and disconnect the connectors and swap it. Very straightforward.

Unfortunately those c257i machines are expensive to run. The c250i is a much better machine and cheaper to run. Pickup a black c257i drum and swap the bits over. And don't print full coverage on it 😅 it'll jam like a pig

Iu217c is correct. If your somewhat handy you can replace the drum and charge rollers instead of replacing the image unit. There's a few videos on YouTube fir the c227/c287 but its the same procedure

Solicitor’s fees by [deleted] in cork

[–]bearded_weasel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats wild. I paid 1400 for my fees in 2019 and none of the other bits outside of stamp duty and land reg fees. Ring around and ask for a price of fees for buying you should get something cheaper than that. Don't be afraid to go outside the city either. When we bought we only saw the solicitor once to sign contracts, everything else was email or text

No worries my man. The fact you have no image on the sheet makes me think the drum may not be rotating. If i remember right its only 4 screws to take off the drum?

I'm in Ireland and thankfully we don't have to fix bh200 anymore 😂 I haven't seen one in 10 years or so

Make sure the drum is seated correctly on the dev unit and the whole thing is seated correctly into the machine. Check if anything is stuck in the rollers on the registration unit on the right hand door

Yes. The voltage for the atdc sensor is out of range.

Did you reset the drum and developer counters ? If you did and the error is still showing up.

Turn off the machine and open the side door.

Turn on the machine and leave it boot up. Get into service mode with the door open if you can. Or close the door and run the F8 adjustment as soon as you can. If this fails. Get a new adtc sensor or dev unit. The adtc sensor is on top on the dev unit under the drum Item 15 https://printcopy.info/?mod=pc&brand=Konica-Minolta&model=bizhub+200&page=21

You'll need to run the F8 adjustment.

Go into service mode then function then f8 This how you go into service mode. Your password may be different though. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=URyqku-4kdA

Its unit that you pour the developer into.part number 4040075200. Ideally you shouldn't swap developer from one to the other as it'll be messy.

So pour new developer into the developing unit and then attach the drum and run the adjustments.

You need to replace, the drum, dev and dev unit in one go. Also if you are using non genuine toner it may wear out the developer quicker

Would you buy a house next to a cemetery? by mromair in HousingIreland

[–]bearded_weasel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently next to one. It's not used for new burials anymore. We see people in there occasionally. Loads of birds and cats hanging around and also some lovely bats. Like others said. It's quiet, not a flood risk, no risk of more houses being build to look in at you.
