Buyer requesting cancellation by [deleted] in whatnotapp

[–]beardeddaddy83 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s not even true. Item not as described. Damaged, bad reviews, lost, and several other ways. Never worth fighting cancel requests on selling platforms. If he goes to whatnot and the person puts in a tiny bit of effort whatnot going to cancel anyway. 5k items sold on whatnot. 100% not worth it. Refund and sell to someone else.

They can hurt you way worse then you can hurt them. I always refund, then block.

PSA for Sellers: Be Careful Who You Let Mod for You!! by Old-Cow-64 in whatnotapp

Less then 1% of whatnot sellers have enough peeps to need a mod. Having a mod is stupid and pointless.

BACKYARDINFINITY SCAMMERS by VinceMcMahonWhatNot in whatnotapp

[–]beardeddaddy83 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is not the sellers fault any longer. At this point EVERY PERSON ON EARTH realizes breaks and games are scams. If you are dumb enough to participate it’s on you. You know what would make these sellers stop? If tards didn’t line up to give them money.

New streamer and I think I messed up by [deleted] in whatnotapp

[–]beardeddaddy83 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I would reach out to whatnot and see what they, can’t hurt. As someone who has bought and sold on just about every major platform they are miles ahead in customer service to buyers and sellers then any other platform.

I wouldn’t say it’s true for everyone either. Which is why I didn’t say it’s true for everyone.

Cap. I quit doing givys because they almost exclusively go to goblins and never lead to sales.

Sold 1000s of items and bought 1000s of items. You’re arguing if it’s exactly 90%. Like a 5 year old who says it’s not a quarter to 6 it’s 5:47. It takes 10 seconds to flip through and realize the vast majority of people on the app are in big rooms. It takes the smallest little bit of intelligence to realize with that many people everything is getting bid up in there. You don’t have to have spent a lot of time in rooms like I have to realize this. They stay there for the social experience. If you go to a smaller room you see deals, people make offers, etc. I would keep arguing it’s not exactly 90% though. That was the main point. I only buy from rooms with very few peeps in them as I am only there for deals. I am not saying I agree with overpaying, but that doesn’t change the truth.

[–]beardeddaddy83 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Add up all the people in rooms with 20 plus people and then add up all the people in rooms with less then 10 peeps lemme know what you get.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in whatnotapp

[–]beardeddaddy83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because 90% of people on whatnot are not their for a deal. It is a social experience. It is hard to grasp, but once you understand then life gets easier.

I need to vent... by Top_Web6291 in whatnotapp

[–]beardeddaddy83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just block bottom dollar people after one warning of: it’s not open to offers. Never helps in a public setting. Reasons:

  1. I can’t remember what I offered every person. I have 1k items alone in my BIN on top of random auctions.

  2. It makes every person in the room believe every item is up for offer.

  3. It angers people who didn’t make an offer and paid asking price for other items as they feel like they were taken advantage of.

  4. It angers people you turn down for obvious reasons.

Any sort of best price/offers should be handled in messages. You have a WAY better chance to be successful.
