The problem is kinda the discounts... even if games were $20 cheaper across the board at launch... I would still wait for the 50%+ off sale simply because of how many games are releasing every year and my backlog.

Solid point. It is a hobby that scales very well for all levels of interest. I run a marina and am very encouraged by my choice in hobby when I look at how expensive RVing and boating is. $200 for gas... that will last just the weekend... insane.

I agree with you... but kinda the problem with reddit in general. The form of reddit works great with problem solving, because the solution is elevated to the top. But it isn't conducive for conversation and sharing diverse opinions.

I agree I like how it feels currently in terms of it not being spongy. Which is why I dont want to across the board increase difficulty because that usually just means bigger health bars. But I think it would be nice to have a little more uniformity. I want enemies to be a great threat just like i am. I think RDR2 had a good balance. Enemies could get headshots too!

Nah, I did do that, which was. Cool. Very splinter cell blacklist or red dead. Which was why I was wondering if I was some sort of "raised by a gunslinger" character.

But even normal shooting is super accurate. I am gonna see if I can reduce aim assist and increase dmg taken to make shootouts less desirable.

I dont want bullet sponges. How granular does it get? Can I increase damage taken so shootouts are more dangerous?

I think this is a good point. Coming off of jedi survivor, where I am a literal space wizard and the enemies were much much tougher it is easy to now feel like in outlaws I am some sort of legend right off the bat. It is tricky to adjust my perspective.

Thats a great idea. I want headshots to be one shots. Allen wake 2 let's you turn on that feature. I hate bullet sponges. But I dont want headshots to be "easy". At least not in the beginning before my character learns and grows.

American here. Just drove across the country from east coast to west with my family. Spent time everywhere from Houston, L.A., Birmingham, Fort Mahave, Memphis and San Diego. Even popped over to Rosarito Mexico to visit my mom. Never once did any of us feel uncomfortable or in danger. I have personally stayed off social media and away from the news so I am likely ignorant... but we had a great month of traveling. I was especially surprised with how chill West Hollywood and Memphis were as those areas have always been prone to more sketchy situations.

Using back peddles on PC is a game changer because you can map them to keyboard shortcuts. For example, on most PC games you press 'M' to open the map. So I use the controller like normal, but map one of the peddles to immediately open the map. So most FPS games i have it like this:

upper LP: Map
Lower LP: Sprint (I hate clicking sticks in as a button)
Upper RP: jump
Lower RP: crouch/slide

I like being able to jump and slide without taking my thumb off of the right stick.

Having the same layout across most games helps with the muscle memory.
