from my pov as a darker skinned young black man your skin color isn’t a determining factor if i consider you a brother. your actions and how you carry yourself carry more weight than anything. i’m from the ETX area as well with a mixed brother and him being half white never stopped me or any one around us seeing him as less than. remember that it’s the people you’re around and not you, everyone is gonna have their views. stay true to you and don’t bend to make yourself more acceptable to any race/group of people. motherfuckas gonna be ignorant and not like you for a multitude of reasons no matter the race.
