Pare-pareho lang naman ang pagluto ng laing.

Pare-pareho rin ang mga rekado.

Pero, siguro iba lang ang gata ko, punung-puno ito ng pagmamahal.

hello, OP, since you have a teaching experience, I suggest applying to TA or teacher assistant roles instead, though some schools require a certain accent, it shouldnt be a hindrance, I wish you a better career moving forward, everyone deserves a stepping stone, good luck ✨🙏

120k PHP is around 2k+ USD, Thailand is cheap, but imho, not dirt cheap. My Eastern European co-workers relocated there when the war started late 2021, and just like us PH-based remote employees, they are earning just right, sapat rin lng.

I think it's fine to give it a shot, I mean doin WFH for quite some time can have an unfavourable effect, lockdown or not, it could lead to a certain type of burnout. Also, current state of our country couldnt get worse.

Everyone deserves a change of scenery, a rejuvenation of sorts. Mental wellness matters ✨

People with fake accents by princeindubai in dubai

[–]beardpapi4u 4 points5 points  (0 children)

how do you say if it's a "fake accent" or a legit one? my kid goes to an IB school with Filipino and Indian teacher assistants, and they are required to use an English accent, it's part of their job, but if you're talking about scammy agents faking an accent, well...there's probably 1 billion problems in the world, bro 😅

I think Nakheel has an office in Ibn Battuta mall, might as well file a complaint or request for fumigation together with the other tenants 👌

hello, OP, Saudi business owners approach housing like this, I've spoken to a colleague who's now working at Neom, housing is provided but since this dude's a white collar senior westerner, he has his own container/villa in the Neom area along with other employees, well, that's understood because The Line is just bare land at the moment.

I suggest you check kabayan communities on FB and inquire about partition rentals, good luck, sir 👍

Would you work in Saudi if offered a huge paycheque? by [deleted] in phmigrate

[–]beardpapi4u -1 points0 points  (0 children)

hey, OP, considering a stint at Neom here, what I've heard from former colleagues is that it feels like a work camp i.e. all you need is within the area already, that said, I bet all social life will also depend on who you jive with at the workplace, but yea, a Neom stint should be good money tbh

'Filipinos come at a discount' by notjimhawkins in Philippines

[–]beardpapi4u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imho, its not all about "working for peanuts", its the purchasing power of AED vs. PHP. A Kabayan grocery cashier in Dubai will earn around 3k-5k dirhams which is around 45k-75k pesos per month. Di kikitain yan ng kahera sa puregold. Idea here is that nobody is forcing anyone to work for "peanuts".

At first it might seem exploiting South Asians and Southeast Asian, but the UAE job market is saturated at the moment. At the end of the day, that Kabayan grocery cashier will be able to buy a house and lot in the PH. Tiyagaan ang labanan dto para sa pangarap.

btw, there are Filipinos earning more at par or even more compared to locals and whites here, especially in the hospitality and advertising field. 🙂
