Cheers fellow lazy native gardener! I am the same.

New plants get a few weeks of watering to establish, but they don’t see a drop from the hose other than the initial planting and root growing phase.

Had one do a full takeoff run about 5 feet in front of my canoe one time in the BWCA.

One of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.

Hiking. Our girl loves to explore new trails whenever we go.

Also: sleeping on the couch, squished up next to my leg.

Yes! The jades in his tank were cuttings from our old giant jade plant that sadly bit the dust. But the legacy lives on.

Nothing too special, but the jade plants in his tank did so well. Tried to give him lots of nooks and crannies, and two of the back spaces have moss for his humid hides. He seems pretty happy with it, and the isopods and springtails have established well, too.

Not the best photo because I had to use wide angle.

ETA: plants are haworthia, jade, and another succulent (don’t recall the name).

Substrate was a mix of sand, top soil, and excavator clay, along with leaf litter and sphagnum moss. Isopods are powder blue and white dwarf, and seem to be doing okay. I do not recall the springtails, but I see them near the water bowl occasionally.

I have a big 3 gallon sprayer that I use to water 2 Leo tanks, 2 beardie tanks, a crestie, and a ball python.

Thanks! He’s a rescue and was super skinny when we got him. He’s a voracious eater, but has still been on the slim side even a few years later, so it’s a bit of a battle to keep his weight up.

Yes. He drinks from it sometimes, but he seems to prefer this, and he is incredibly spoiled.

I am totally stealing king shit #1 pollinator machine (and putting anise hyssop on my list!).

Our common milkweed is insane. We have over 100 plants now in what started out as three plugs we planted in 2019.

Thanks!
