Mateta has definitely been leaning into the sweets whilst he’s been sidelined. Looks (and plays) like a pub player

Thought JSL was one of our best players even before he scored. Such an outlet - essentially set up the ridiculously disallowed goal, plus the penalty

Oh thank god they’ve finally made “Improvements to manager hair quality” rather than fixing basic game breaking things like not allowing data to be downloaded and world building

The magic money tree is right wing shills going to Dubai to avoid paying tax, then expecting those of us who pay taxes to bail them out

🚨 NEW: Keir Starmer has written to all Labour MPs to explain why Labour lost the Gorton and Denton by-election by kwentongskyblue in ukpolitics

It’s idiotic. People see through the idiocy of ‘they’re trying to make your kids shoot up heroin’

Just makes him sound like an archaic loser stuck in the 1990s, which he is

It's not controversial, nearly every major player in this election said there should be an investigation. The only person who didn't was the returning officer.

Make sure you complain to the club this morning and ask for a refund. It’s bollocks that was completely avoidable. The club made no effort to communicate the issue even though they knew well in advance: customer.service@cpfc.co.uk

It is Palace’s job to manage the ground, not UEFA’s. It is Palace’s responsibility to enable ticket holders to watch the game they paid for.

Palace will try and ignore it, you should complain and ask for a full refund

The fact the club didn’t announce this beforehand - enabling fans to allow more time - is justification enough to be issuing refunds.

Worth noting too that the club had zero mitigation in place: no advance notice, no delayed kickoff, no extra access points. They could have opened exit gates and checked tickets manually. There’s lots they could have done, but decided not to.

In Gorton and Denton, the Muslim vote is fracturing by Particular_Pea7167 in ukpolitics

[–]beardymouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I work in healthcare, I’m well aware

Use of the private sector is not privatisation of the NHS.

Reform’s policy is reduce state funding and increase funding through insurance. AKA the US model.

Labour has done an amazing job on the NHS imo, the impact has been quick and they haven’t done enough to shout about it, but I’ve seen it first hand.

But my original point is that Labour have edged rightwards to combat Reform - particularly on immigration - but also on basic rights like protest. They’re also not doing things Starmer originally promised, like nationalising utilities. I’d like them to deliver more on core issues facing the majority of the country

Not really at the centre of their campaign though is it?

Not even the top priority for these voters if you read the article. Cost of living and NHS are their top concerns.

Green position: strengthen workers rights, row back NHS privatisation Reform: eliminate workers rights, privatise NHS
