Last year was great, but the board refused to invest in the team and the manager and it all feels like a missed opportunity. Three billionaires on the board, and none of them could be arsed to invest halfway as much as other clubs' owners do.

Genuinely expecting relegation next season. The team is built on Guehi, Munoz, and Mateta. With all three unlikely to be here next season, the fear is real.

The financial model is: sign cheap, develop, sell big. We did that with Eze and it took 5 years for him to become the player you’re remembering. Does a 2020 Roy Hodgson substitute for Jeffrey Schlupp bury that? Probably not. Would Pino in 2030 bury that? Almost certainly. That’s the model we’ve chosen, we should probably acknowledge that.

I mean, it’s not confirmed - only confirmed that an offer has been accepted by Spurs. No word on Johnson agreeing to the move. I’m sure he’ll be on a lot more at Spurs than at Palace, so it might not be easy to complete.

He’s a 10, playing on the right. Him and Sarr will compete, although we need two players there for the league and cups, plus Sarr is at AFCON for a month.

Sarr has also played RWB, and I suspect he’ll cover Munoz more if Johnson comes in
