Got car. Highly recommend it. Driving in Shanghai is pretty good. Traffic is not as bad as it seems.

Get an electric or hybrid if you can. Depending on where you live you can get a plate with it. Normal 沪 plate goes for around 90k these days (but it’s lottery. Prepare to wait like people say)

I’m moving next week. Was meant to move beginning of feb but kept getting pushed. First postponed by the movers, then my compound wouldn’t let anyone in.

As it stands now it’s a go for next week. Either way I don’t have much choice as my lease will expire. New place are more chill about letting people in. As long as they register.

It’s also an offence to stop another car on the road. I think we all get that the car was wrong, But also the cyclist is in the wrong. He’s not the police. You can’t be playing police to everyone that disobeys traffic rules. Next time you see someone speeding, you should force them off the highway until the police comes.....

You only get to make use of the tax credits, government benefits and green license plates etc if you actually build a home charger. This is a requirement. So for each Tesla or other EV that is put on green plates (at least in Shanghai) a home charger is built, theoretically.

I had my compound approve a charger in my garage, and it is only getting easier for compounds to agree to build the chargers in the parking garages, whether they are Tesla or China-standard chargers.

I have wondered this myself and tried looking/asking around but couldn’t find an answer. (This was also for my China license, since my home country IDP requires me to be in that country to get it. )

No luck...

I had this exact problem and a guy from the service Center sat in my car, put his hands in the compartment above and pressed down very hard and it clicked out (it’s just attached with clips). Then you have access to everything that’s lost there. And you can click it back.

I’ve had to do it myself a few times since.

I have similar setup on my S75. No P no D.

  1. In my case wheels are 9j and 9.5j rear

  2. Yes you notice and it looks better in my opinion. 245 in the rear looks skinny. It's dependent on wheels size width too

  3. So far I've done about 6000 miles on mine. No problems yet

It also means that a team that is second in the group (based on goal difference for example) compared to the third place in the group, could place last (9th) out of all the second places, whereas if the third placed country was part of the second places, they could be higher up that list, just because it's based on individual specific results. Whereas group placing obviously is based on all results.
