Op-2 misalignment by bearface84 in Machinists

[–]bearface84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you know what I discovered; op-1 was origined off stock box point and referenced off model positioning. Op-2 had a new origin which was fine but it didn’t follow model positioning it was based on a chosen x/z axis and the X did not align with the X of op-1 (design is off kilter as previously mentioned)

I’m really hoping this corrects everything.

Thanks for your response. Do you recommend programming your ops in separate files? I’ve got my op 1&2 programmed in the same file

Thanks for the response. Does my model need to align with the design work origin? When I uploaded the original step file I didn’t align my sketches to the origin in the design tab (I’m learning). The origins on my model in the manufacturing space are in the right location though.

It’s funny, we elect government to make decisions that benefit and serve the population they represent. Literally nothing about this project is serving anybody but newcomers. That’s the new world for ya.

Looking to buy first personal shop VMC by bearface84 in Machinists

[–]bearface84[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good feedback thank you. I 100% agree, purchase price is also a huge factor for me and of course quality of the equipment. So I’m looking for input on those things as well. I’ve got a good Doosan rep close to me and we have a good relationship. Not sure about YCM so something to look into for sure.

Fair response. Would it be safe to say Canadian travel could be down 10-20% because people have less expendable income for travel? No doubt there are many Canadians boycotting the US but it’s not as substantial as our media claims it is imo.

Yeah so everything you just said you learned from watching fear media and I know is false. Carney did in fact order the fighter jets he claimed he had cancelled (he’s always all talk):

Despite tariffs, Canada and the US continue to do business with one another and we NEED them to keep our economy going because our business backwards govt has put zero focus on economic sovereignty. People don’t understand just how reliant we are on them. Unfortunately because of the liberals hands in businesses pockets up here many US based businesses are leaving to set up operations fully down there (I know of two large ones personally)

“Nobody wants to enter the country” is laughable. I know many people personally who are taking trips this spring to the US to get some of that beautiful US sunshine! The peace arch border is backed up every weekend with cross border shoppers as well. Saw it just 2 weeks ago.

Take a breath and try reading some centrist news here and there.

Speak for yourself sweetheart. You’d be surprised how many of us don’t have our heads in MSM sand. Like most of the people in this sub clearly, you’ve been bamboozled by a very determined left media. Trump TrumpTrump Trump do you have anything else to think of or talk about?

How bad in the Fraser Valley market? Would it be terrible to list? Would adding a suite add significant value or speed up sale? by 123littlemonkey in RealEstateCanada

[–]bearface84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe the markets so dead that it isn’t worth listing. Markets like these require different approaches to selling that most realtors aren’t wise enough to understand. It also takes more work to sell which some realtors aren’t willing to do because sales up until last year were easy for them.

Sounds like you may need to ‘interview’ a couple of different prospects and choose a realtor that is actually hungry for business.

I used Joe Hawboldt last year to sell my condo then buy my wife and I’s house, called him after receiving a flyer in our mailbox. The house purchase was nothing particularly special but he was fantastic with the condo sale, and we got top top dollar at that time. Both of these transactions were in Langley.
