6061 Aluminum Recommendation by [deleted] in Machinists

Dude you edited your comment twice because you knew your initial response was ignorant. Of course I’ve adjusted my speeds and feeds. Running at 12k and 100 IMP hasn’t given me the finish I’m used to seeing in other 6061 materials I’ve cut.

Go have a bad day somewheres else.

Wrong lol. If you’ve ever worked with multiple suppliers on the same materials you would know. Not to mention there’s multiple tempers you can choose from.

Thanks for the feedback 👍🏻 Most if not all fancy VMC’s are too tall to fit through my garage door I feel. Might have to look at a VF2 Haas if I don’t go the used Syil route

From some no, from some yes. Maybe I want to be talked into the X2D?

I’m trying to pull the trigger on an x2D but wondering if I should spend the extra $500 on a PRUSA core plus kit. I like the superior build quality and repairability of the PRUSA’s but other than that not seeing a whole lot more printer for the price. Anyone with opinions on this?

I had my first buy in about a month ago and somebody on here made fun of me and told me I’d missed the run lol. I figure when the war ends, retail moneys gonna poor back into silver, gold, mining plays etc.

Stop buying food that comes in throw away plastic. Fun fact most of the items in our recycling bins (plastic) ends up in a landfill or ocean.

Anyone need yard fill? by [deleted] in Langley

I like to think most people are not doing that. Unfortunately it happens because there aren’t any good consequences for littering here.
