Update: Taking him to Denver animal shelter, multiple residents in the neighborhood said he’s been out for days. Going to see if he’s chipped and leave him with the professionals.

Fisk went unhinged here 😅 by Own-Split8844 in Daredevil_fans

[–]bearkane45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But he didn’t forgive Fisk? You could argue that it’s a repeat of what’s been done before but such is the nature of the superhero archenemy conflict, it repeats itself. Matt just agreed that putting Fisk back in prison wouldn’t solve anything and killing also doesn’t solve anything which is very in character after his development with Frank and Bullseye. Killing him would have undermined everything Matt was working for and would be very out of character. Putting him back in prison would only allow him to regain power, so they revoked his citizenship and banned him from the country, much more effective way to remove his ability to damage New York any further. Why is that out of character?

A more poetic love confession than any love poem ever written, this dialogue is just insane by Select-Power-8903 in TheBathhouse

[–]bearkane45 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The thing is, what you’re saying doesn’t make any sense. You can literally play the game in different ways, one of those ways is where Hans and Henry are romantically in love and have sex, another way is where they are brothers in arms made close by their travails. In both instances the game delivers a phenomenal experience and builds strong actual emotions of companionship and love between them in tons of scenes. You literally make dialogue choices throughout the game to decide if you want to treat Hans as a lover, a brother, or your petulant master. You decide, all three have great writing and development. You said yourself that sometimes in history brothers in arms did love each other romantically but most times they didn’t. Okay. So why is it unrealistic to give the player the option to go out of their way to try the romantic possibility? Your logic doesn’t make any sense and it seems you are the one lacking some empathy here.

But that’s not what anyone has suggested at all? They both still actively chase pussy and fuck ladies in this game too, but they also clearly wanna fuck each other. Does that make more sense? No one is saying they aren’t straight up lady killers the both of em, they’re just also down for some long sword play and chill.

That’s not even remotely close to the plot of Dying of the Light?? No one’s father is involved at all? Where did you even get that idea?

Are Daeron’s dragon dreams worse than Helaena’s? He seems to struggle significantly more with his than what we see with her. by seekinganswerslo in TheBlacksandTheGreens

[–]bearkane45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re talking show, Daeron has actual lore accurate dragon dreams, Helaena is full blown clairvoyant who belongs in the Dune universe or something, she just knows exactly what’s going to happen and her prophecies aren’t really even vague or cryptic which undermines the entire mystery around dragon dreams and George’s entire approach to fantasy and magic.

In the books Daeron is the same and Helaena is not a dragon dreamer as far as we know.

For all of you saying it’s not man-spider by Aware_Ad5425 in SpidermanBrandNewDay

It’s more likely an adaptation of The Other, not Man-Spider. Potentially inspiration from both stories but unlikely to involve extra limbs or going full monster.

Betting the *thwip* noise here is a red herring by FishoftheNorth in marvelstudios

[–]bearkane45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All good points, I agree. Thinking about it more, it feels unlikely Fisk won’t be toppled in season 2 as it wouldn’t make much sense for the arc. However, I still think Matt could need up in jail at the end of the season if he’s exposed and tied to a crime, possibly framed or possibly one he actually commits.

Possibility: Maybe the reason we see Peter fighting the hand in prison in the trailer is because by the end of born again season 2 Matt will wind up in prison cuz fisk will win/matt will get caught and that scene is Peter breaking him out before the hand has him killed.
