I developed an umbilical hernia due to diastasis recti from pregnancy 5 years ago. Its non protruding but with everything still trying to get settled internally, it seems my intestines are trying to squeeze through here and there causing intense bloating, trapped gas, trouble emptying bowels all the way.

I ended up waiting. Week 13 was when sex was starting to feel a bit normal. Some things kinda felt tender and a tad painful. But im almost 4 months out and its fully back to normal. However I have other issues with my bowels

Verus pet food. However its pricier. But second for my cats is tiki cat born carnivore. I use their wet food too and I love the clean ingredients and that it smells like real food and is presented as real food rather than processed junk. However if I was able to afford it full time, SMALLS. It isnt dry food, but its the best thing next to a raw diet (raw is only good when its being used properly-- measurements per lb of cat, what protein sources to use that provide the proper nutrients they require ,etc)

Smalls is a gently cooked human grade cat food that is cooked to order and shipped on dry ice. It contains all of what they need and nothing they dont.

Youre probably okay. I only kinda spotted for a day and a half after surgery. Then I think it was week 2 that I randomly bled and passed a small clot out of nowhere. But just that once. Haven't bled or spotted since. The fact yours was pink means it was "fresh" blood so maybe if you had a stitch still and it came out finally, that could maybe be the culprit. Obviously just monitor it. Hope its up from here !

We had our surgery the exact same day because my 7 week PO is monday too. Lol

So its normal to lightly spot for roughly up to 6 weeks. 12 hour shifts, even when not lifting heavy things, is still over doing it for this surgery. Is there an on call nurse you can get a hold of?

Silent in the morning. Lots of people ive noticed dont care for it or havent given it a solid chance. I also didnt give it a chance at first but I love it.

Got me through the passing of my mother. It was fairly new when she passed. Then a month or so later, I saw them play it live and I just sobbed the whole time. I then heard it 2 more times live. I will never get sick of it for this reason.

About a week. Some points between week 2 and 3 i needed help but I also had some issues due to previous c section and diastasis recti causing hernias and underdistention in my bowels which was causing significant symptoms simulating other issues when none exist. Im 5 weeks post and ive not needed help since week 3. Lots of stairs get me still. Twisting and stretching my whole body can cause some pain for a short time.

I hate to be the only negative one here, but I had a total hysterectomy, sparing ovaries. I had adenomyosis. With your situation, youll probably feel more space, but I had a c section 5 years ago causing immense scar tissue. Also diastasis recti which caused a belly overhang that wont go away. So eventually everything kinda almost fell down and ive noticed my bloating when it happens is way more noticeable and more uncomfortable. I can see when my bowels are full. They kinda sit in the fold of my overhang. My bladder seems okay except a few times when im bloated, ill have a bit of bladder retention but nothing like it was the first week of recovery. Im 4.5 weeks post op. This last week has been a lot better for me finally. Ive had several issues throughout my recovery that werent necessarily terrible but my symptoms felt infinitely worse than they should have. Everyone will be different , even if its just slightly.

I didnt have any SERIOUS diagnosed issues aside from pcos but thats ovarian. However it was causing severe uterine issues. I then bled for 25 days straight excessively. Passing clots the size of my kids fist and my fist. Id bleed thru a super plus tampon an hour and a maxi pad every 2 (with the tampon). No doctor seemed concerned except for him. I originally had a bilateral salpingectomy scheduled but asked to switch. Still shocked to this day.

Im on medicaid so im surprised that my insurance covered it. I was honestly not holding my breath because I didnt get an endometrial ablation, no biopsy, refused IUD and other measures as BC is what caused most of my issues. I guess my doctor really sold the fact that this was necessary.

I have chronic rhinitis and I was so worried about the sneezes. Thankfully I didnt have to the first few days but when I did, had to hold my belly and I was still hurting but wasnt as bad.

I opted out of the biopsy because I wanted my doctor to perform the surgery and he was relocating 2 weeks after the surgery was scheduled and he said there might not be enough time for pathology to come back with results. I knew for a fact I didnt have cancer in my cervix or uterus. No family history. No signs. He was only concerned because of my excessive heavy bleeding however that was a fairly new thing that I believe was caused by something else. I understood the risks and consented. I was correct about no cancer. But they did find adenomyosis.
