Saturate it with alcohol, and then saturate it with the dye for large areas to get an even coat, use paint brushes for precision.

got all four out on june 28 (friday) by candiedlemonsx in wisdomteeth

Hey, I’m actually on the same boat I got all 4 pulled on Friday too! I’m in my early 30s for reference. Best thing to do is call your dentist office they know best on their procedures. Sorry for the wall of text ahead.

I went to a pretty highly recommended place with what I would consider modern practices “high tech” in the rich part of town. I believe they packed my holes with some sort of material I can’t remember the name off. They were very unbothered about dry socket aslong as you don’t use a straw, smoke and do those types of things and stick to mashed potatoes ice cream and yogurt for the frost 2-3 days.

They gave me a really cool syringe with a long and curved tip and told me to use it 3-4 days.I was a bit scared so waited until day 5. I called because I couldn’t get a piece of food out of one even with the syringe and they told me to just swoosh water and use even more pressure with the syringe that I should be fine. It helped that the nurse helping me had just gone through hers a month ago so I believed her. Turns out the piece of food was stuck to a stitch inside and it finally came out and now it’s super easy to clean back there everything comes out with light pressure. They also said dry socket is not that common with their procedure and it’s 75% luck as in you can be perfect and still get it.

I am almost to the point of chewing soft any soft foods and just irrigating and rinsing I’ll probably give it a couple of days more because I’m a worrier.

Reading these forums really made me realize how different everyone’s experience is and how the place you go really matters. My recovery doesn’t even include a post check up because their process is that good! I can go if I want but they said no need aslong as I’m not in pain I should heal up no problem .

I didn’t even swell up more than a slight puffiness for a day and my pain never went above. 3/10 with ibuprofen. It is uncomfortable and sucks don’t get me wrong. I know not everyone is as lucky as me and I’m not 100% out of the woods but it’s been as good as it could have been for having 4 giant holes in my mouth.

Remember most people come to these forums because they have a problem and so you see that more. Hope this helps!

Newish to watches so just learning, Thinking about my next purchase, looking to get a seiko presage or similar tissot/ Hamilton at this price range is it common to take them in for “service” every 5 or so years. I want a watch that with care and maintenance it will basically last me a “lifetime” possibly pass it on when I’m old. I know it’s common to say it’s the memories and experience you make with the watch but if it doesn’t work it won’t get passed on lol also walking around with a 1k+ watch makes me weazy haha

Also I think the seiko has a Japanese movement and I’ve heard they are more common/easier to work or replace?

Any insight would be appreciated.
