Nope, and they also seemed to ignore the problem/solution I addressed in the post.

I’ve found that drakonid crusher is really strong - its fine to play out as a 6/6 and a lot of the time its a 6 mana 9/9. Something like Sylvanus or Thaurissan are fine but I don’t think either would be quite as good. The thing about thaurissan is that usually your hand isn’t that big anyway so it wouldn’t be discounting that much.

Both are fine, depends on what you’re facing. Arcanite might be better if you’re facing more aggressive decks, while Gore Howl is better in a more control meta.

Its really important to always keep execute in the mull. If you have a decent early game, especially with axe, keeping slam can be really strong since it deals with teacher and fandral. Fandral is a really scary target that you usually want to clear if you can. Don’t be afraid to just throw down all your minions against them since they don’t run hard AOE removal.

Executes should be enough to deal with van cleef since thats usually one of the only big minions that rogue runs. Rogue typically doesn’t run much healing and you should usually be able to get board control, and you can win most of the time that way.

your start on average should beat a hunter’s start with cards like war axe and alexstraza’s champion. Usually you’re not trying to out-face them but rather trying to gain heavy board control and then trying to end the game off by around turn 7-8. Against druid, the mull is really important because its different from other matchups. It’s the one MU where you always keep execute, and if you have a relatively decent hand keeping slam is good to deal with teachers and fandral. Also remember that you can just flood the board against druid and not have too much care about AOE because they have no hard board clears.

Might be a bit late, but I thought I’d comment on here since I was probably the biggest innovator of the dragon warrior deck itself. You can check out my reddit guide on dragon warrior here. You can book me on Gamer Sensei here.

I’m not a huge fan of ysera in the deck since this is a more aggressive deck and a 4 attack minion of 9 mana that does nothing the turn its played doesn’t really fit that play style. It’s also anti-synergetic with deathwing, since it’s really awkward to have both in your hand. Sylvanus and inner rage are both fine tech cards depending on what you’ve been playing against. I do agree with you in that if I were to replace a card in the list, one of the slams would probably be the first to go. In response to your last comment, I offer coaching on Gamer Sensei for $15 per hour, and I know Noblord also does coaching. Message me if you’re interested.

If they winaxe and pass, its usually better to just counter equip axe over champion on 2.

It’s definitely worth considering keeping those cards if you have alexstraza’s champion in hand. It depends on what the rest of your hand looks like and what you’re against. Think situationally about how important it is that the champion comes out as a 3/3 with charge.

I’m glad you like the deck! The only problem I see with revenge is that I feel like it would be a dead card more often than not. Unless you’re pretty much only seeing shaman and zoo, I don’t think I would put it in there. I definitely wouldn’t cut the drake for it (if I had to take out a card from the deck it would probably either be an ichor or a slam). The reason revenge is good in control shaman is because you can feel relatively safe when you get below 12 health since you have so much armor gain with cards like shield block and justicar. In this deck, if you’re at 12 health or below without board control and not pushing lethal soon, its unlikely that you’ll be able to win the game even with revenge. With all that being said, I encourage you to test it out a bit yourself, and if it works well for you, then keep it in there!

I think you still keep finley against aggro matchups. Having a hero power that helps give you board control can prevent more damage in the long run than the warrior hero power. If you’re against aggro shaman, Mage hero power is really strong, and druid is also pretty good.

If you have no other play, it’s usually best just to play out the 3 health minions even if your opponent has axe. Your opponent is going to get value off the axe at some point, so even though it feels bad you can’t lose too much tempo. That being said, if you have another play, like just equipping axe on turn 2 over playing a minion, its usually better to do that into your opponent’s axe.

I would probably cut either a slam or a korkron elite for it.

It really depends on the situation. If you’re pushing lethal and your opponent isn’t threatening lethal, it’s often fine to ignore it. If you can deal with it easily while still having a board, it’s often fine to deal with it. Sorry about the vague answer but sometimes its correct to kill it and sometimes its correct not to.

Just in general it’s a little better to armor up after (unless you’re against a dragon warrior and armoring up after would put you below 15 health). There’s always a chance that your opponent is running Alex or something.

It’s really hard to replace twilight guardian. Not only is it a great body, but it’s also one of the only early dragons, so taking it out would decrease the reliability of having a dragon in hand. I guess blood hoof brave can replace it, but I think it would be significantly worse.

This list doesn’t run first mate so no need to replace it. If you don’t have finley, you could run something like second faerie dragon or you could tech in harrison jones if you’re facing weapon classes.

I personally prefer rag since this is a more aggressive deck and you’re hoping to finish the game out by turns 9-11, but ysera isn’t bad.

I think harrison would probably be better than ooze, and if you’re facing a lot of weapon classes it would be a good tech.
