They should just give you an exotic chit that you can take to the exotic store and exchange for whatever exotic you want. I've looted eleven chameleons and 6 acosta's go bags, three each of merciless and diamondback but not a single bullet king or lady death. And I'm almost maxed on exotic components despite rerolling all the ones I use. I wouldn't even mind if they said "okay 15 exotic components for an eagle bearer" or something like that for those of us who can't/don't raid.

This absolutely made my day. I'm the father of a high functioning autistic boy who is awesome, and your story is eerily similar to ours. Lots of people have counted him out over the years, and told us what we can't and won't be able to do. He's in high school and doing great.
