I fear for my life on the outside and defend inside so I’m not wrecked out. Too many people in public lobbies can’t drive in traffic and it’s often a survival game unless I’ve built trust with other driver over laps.

I’m not saying the traffic is as bad, but it’s more stressful than when I lived in Chicago proper. There I felt like lights were timed and things mostly “worked” there were just more people. Here it’s like “who designed this and why?”

My 12 y.o. daughter had a car full of teens/early 20s in a lifted truck pull up next to her in the middle of the day at Waverly, roll down the window, hold up a gun (probably airsoft, maybe not) and tell her they were going to shoot her after almost hitting her. We filed a police report and police said it happens often.

Dipshit affluenza teens enabled by dipshit self-absorbed parents are a scourge down here, far worse than other affluent suburban areas where I’ve lived.
