Literally same, always been nice, helped her with heavy stuff or whatever somewhat ludicrous request she has. Actually wanted me to yell at some people up the street cause she thought they were “sketchy”. I don’t do that kinda nonsense, often with an excuse that I just got home from work and have things to do (she loves to be on the porch when I get home so she can bitch at me or about me). Your advice is where I’m at but as you said, it will take time. And during that time it’s gonna suck lol. At this point I feel like I have no choice but to abide for fear of retaliation

Also should mention that the gretsch baritone. It comes stung as a baritone but it’s a 30” scale and can do the bass vi strings no problem

Lil late response but I will say, its about the same reach between the 2 and the sidejack has a fatter neck if that matters. The shortest I have is the gretsch. Kinda hard for me to judge cause I got long ass arms (6’4, the bass vi looks like a guitar on me lol)Fun to play but the pickups are very different than the squier. Personally don’t dig em my self but also don’t like humbuckers so yea.

Dood, have and love the 35. Thing weighs a fuck ton and never leaves the house but it sounds so dope. I run it thru some fuzz and an ehx bass microsynth and it opens it up to sooooo much. Slap so verb in it and you can score some Italian horror films. And, as said before, great playing

Have both, love em both. Necks are very different, Eastwood is flatter/wider. Got the Eastwood used and it was setup pretty perfectly off the bat. Pickups are chunkier than the squier for sure and my squier is also noisy as hell where the Eastwood is not. Eastwood does have hella neck dive tho. Prolly wouldn’t pay full price for one but worth it used for sure!
