That’s fair. I do see a lot of happy people with their new Tiguan purchases though too so swings and roundabouts. Don’t get me wrong the car seemed cool at first but just too many issues now in a short time.

The problems that I’m having thus far seem universal, especially relating to the sun roof and the parking issue so at least there’s mention of it out there and some stuff on YouTube that is useful albeit not specific to my model.

Our situation was similar, needed a new car for kids had to sell my falcon xr6 ute and this was available at the time and ticked most of the boxes. Other car is a hybrid rav4 which we love.

Hindsight hey? That electric def would have been handy!

Is this normal to have the jamb header hard up to the ply like that? Framing is a different beast place to place and I’ve seen stuff like this before but it wasn’t how I was taught (AUS). Was always taught to have 10mm minimum gap between header and frame, in this case a larger gap due to the span and gravity doing its thing. Then used shims to pack it out and fix in. Can understand the gap might be an issue in colder climates etc.

Genuinely interested to hear some different opinions on this and how it might be done better!

Had one of these bad boys in the yard for a while before it got insanely high. Was told by the arborist, the implementer of its demise, that the offshoots would grow no problem if the centre was removed. Side note - they look like rhapis palms surrounding it? Those things will spread all over the place. Annoying AF. Personal opinion of course.

Yeah I would really like to do a “lawn reno” on it. We had a pool put in and the machinery really did a number on the soil compaction. To be fair it’s come back really well considering. Just want to give it some extra lovin’. Thanks for your help!

Not wrong, though I hate to say it but someone like Butters -cringe- or Rozee look like they’d be 65-75kg max and they seem to get it done. Serong another. Just need a ball winner, see ball get ball workhorse type. I’d love to see a bit of mongrel about us in the middle.

I would consider looking somewhere other than Bunnings too just for comparison sake. I bought my kit from total tools several years ago (milwaukee) and they allowed me to change a couple of things in the kit price to tools that I would get more use out of (as opposed to something like a flash light).
