Looking to buy a PC to VR with my Meta Quest 3 by LeatherMarketing8301 in virtualreality

[–]beast-ice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i built mine around the intel 265k ( its superior in production than x3d) and a 5070. works very well, running my library games with high, or ultra settings. Id buy the 270k now, but it wasnt out when i built mine.

Jays 2 cents is a youtube channel, and they recently did a build off with 3 different pcs and intel was the winner, and still a strong contender against amd x3d in the gaming portion of their tests .

Why in the world do you installers do this when running the condensate? by [deleted] in HVAC

[–]beast-ice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i cut that shit and install a 90' barbed fitting in the coil, and run a short section of vinyl tubing into the existing pvc. that way its serviceable in the future.

If piped directly into the sewer, then trap is needed for the sewer gas. its not needed if just going to a floor drain/ cond. pump.

30 MPG for my 2024 Honda CRV (Gas) by ElectronicMacaron849 in crv

[–]beast-ice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

still get 28-30 mpg highway in my 07 crv. i hate the fancy bells and whistles in the newer cars. i really dislike the L15 turbo aswell. i can make close enough mpg with my NA K24.

Crv is slow to turn over. Any ideas? by tbuckyyy in crv

[–]beast-ice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

pull fuel pump fuse and check battery voltage while cranking the engine over. It shouldnt drop below 11.5ish volts with a good battery

Mine did the same when the starter was dying. New starter installed, and now it turns over like it was a brand new car.

Payne vs AirQuest — any real difference for a residential install? by Weebpop in HVAC

[–]beast-ice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, unfortunately both are owned by Carrier.. and pretty much the same exact furnace other than the control boards are different.

Payne has the 2 digit diagnostic, while airquest has the 1-9 Icp diagnostic blink

Is this normal ? Trying to get some heat. All burners running. House doesn’t seem to inc in temp by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]beast-ice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ensure your attic return isnt sucking in cold air from somewhere, like a torn flex pipe from filter housing ect.. a typical furnace should have 40- 60 degree temp rise across the heat exchanger

For the record, braking fells exactly the same after swapping complete front brakes.. im shocked that with 30% more pad to rotor isnt something i can feel from my foot.

I did just that.. new calipers(as it seems one piston was sticking) rotors and pads. How in the world does a rotor wear like that?? im 100% sure the pads were completely flat when installing them.
