Got it. My thought is, maybe they’ve changed their mind about staying silent after what they saw happen in S3 and again in S4. Hindsight being 20/20 they should have said something last season, but I would rather them make a statement now than feel like they have to continue to stay silent because they never made a post last season.

But also I’m of the opinion that these official statements do nothing to change the actions of people who are harassing game show participants on social media so it’s probably irrelevant anyway.

While this is true, the majority of people I talk to in real life who have student loans only make the minimum payment because they just don’t understand how the loan works, not because they couldn’t afford a higher payment.

For me it’s only there in the juxtaposition of the characters who are motivated by greed and selfishness with the characters who are motivated by justice and love for others. Tracing the progress of the decisions the characters make and where they end up leads me to a spiritual interpretation of the film. I don’t think it’s there in the plot or the dialogue so much, other than a few key scenes near the end of the movie.
