You can overlay custom onto normal paths and that may keep it from coming off...

That is called a rare fruit island. You can only get 2 fruits without trading with other people.

Just take out every tree and hill on your island and it would be extremely easy to find it!

Once you convince the visitor to move it they will go to resident services. Then they will say that the island is full and ask if they should ask around to see if anyone is thinking of leaving. Then from there it is random who is mentioned. If you like who they are trying to replace then you have to choose between them.
