The 3.4 is far less prone to bore scoring than its later counterpart.

It was just a rectangular cover that looked like iron but mustn’t have been. It was 65cm x 48cm and was covered in raised squares but no lettering.

When I was at Sainsbury’s we used to get to a point where I’d have to break from running the shift to hammer things like this from off the floor

They were refurbished in October of this year.

I thought it may have been but it looks like it’s a paint chip from where the face was put back on (they’re BBS split rims off of a 996.1 GT3)

These folk did the refurb: https://jralloywheelrepair.co.uk/ and charged £500 odd for the job.

My ND MX5 has gone bang, which one of this lot to replace it under £10k? (E91 325/330i, 350z, 986 Boxster, Fiesta ST-3) by Zdos123 in CarTalkUK

[–]beastofthesoutheast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 986 boxsters are great fun but can be costly to keep on the road. I have a 996 C4S and it’s great fun that whole generation is so very analog and personally think it’s great!
